Hamas founder's son: I spied for Israel

March 3rd, 2010

Watch the complete interview with Mosab Yousef on our podcast.

Watch the complete interview with Mosab Yousef on our podcast.

New York (CNN) - The son of a founder of the Palestinian militant group, Hamas, Tuesday told CNN that he was a spy for Israel.

For 10 years, Mosab Yousef said he gathered information about Hamas terrorist plots and fed them to Israel's domestic security service Shin Bet.

Yousef, in an exclusive interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour, said he did it because he came to believe that Hamas was practicing "exceptional cruelty" against its members and "killed people for no reason."

He has now written a book, "Son of Hamas" detailing his exploits from his new base in the United States where he has lived since 2007. CNN could not independently confirm his story and Israel has refused to comment.

In the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, a former Israeli handler said of Yousef: "One insight of his was worth 1,000 hours of thought by top experts."

Yousef told CNN: "They offered me to work for them. My goal was to be a double agent and attack them from the inside."

But then his views changed.

"After I was tortured by Shin Bet I was transferred to prison [where] Hamas tortured Hamas members and I became confused who was really my enemy ... I accepted to meet Shin Bet."

Yousef said he agreed to spy on Hamas and that his decision was partly a moral one. "My people did not understand this. Shin Bet is committed to a constitution but Hamas targets civilians. There's a difference between targeting a terrorist and civilians."

He said that in part his transformation was due to spiritual reasons. "Later on, I became a Christian, during that time, the first few months, and I was convinced by the principle of loving your enemies. And I saw that my enemy, who I thought that they were my enemies, they had morality, they had their responsibilities more than my own people."

He added: "As a Shin Bet agent, when I had information I helped arrest people, otherwise they hit randomly. When I specified a particular person I had a condition – not to kill that person ...

"In 10 years working for Shin Bet I am not responsible for killing one terrorist. I care about my people, my problem was their [Hamas'] ideology.

His father, Sheikh Yousef, is serving time in an Israeli prison. He recently wrote a letter from jail saying that the whole family "inclusively and exhaustively denounce our eldest son."

An attorney for the elder Yousef obtained a statement last week from the father saying Hamas knew of his son's contact with Israeli intelligence and adding that he "was not on any day an active member in the ranks of Hamas."

Asked if he feels in danger because of what he's done, Yousef says he is not afraid. "Death is not the worst thing that can happen to a human being, physical death. The worst, spiritual and soul death. This is what really scares me."

The Israeli government, including Shin Bet, has not offered CNN official comment, and his family has broadly denied his story. But an intelligence source told Amanpour that the core claims are true, this is a "modus operandi of how Israeli agents work," to penetrate the opposite side, to try to get as much information as possible.

But the source added some of the high profile claims of thwarting terrorism or helping with high-level captures are "gross exaggerations."

Thank you for two great interviews (Mosab and experts)! I have blogged about this too.
    I took away two points:
    1. If a son of Hamas leader can realize Hamas is cruel and immoral, anyone can.
    2. It seems reasonable that this may demonstrate Israeli Shin Bet's modus operandi and capabilities.

Its unusual for a child to leave his heritage, and adopt another, i feel this young man, has taken a big step in the muslim world, saying and passing a message, that not all young muslims support the terror that goes on in the middle east, irrespective of the fact that their parents and family are into the whole terror business

Great show and even greater guy, Mosab yousef. He speaks the truth (go over each words he spoke with common sense). Amanpour is biased a little though (i sensed instinctively) but a terrific person. I think this would have a great implication for her personally if mosab's findings are true

Leaving behind a heritage and an ideology fraught with terrorism is admirable, a bold step indeed. Youseff's road to Damascus has come. Not many will undauntedly take a stand for something that is intrinsically right, something that is totally different from one's previous faith and culture - he just did. =)

    Dear Mrs. Amanpour,

First of all, i would like to tell you that i am a big fan of your program and i really admire your work and i appreciate the huge effort you and your staff are doing to let the people speak out loudly.

It is just what makes me feel terribly bad that some one discriminates me and my believes (Mosab Yousef) on my favorite show, and what disappoints me even more is that my favorite reporter wouldn’t let him stop from hurting 1,3 billion people’s feelings.
I don’t care about whether Hamas or Israel is on the right side. What I do care about is watching someone who’s trying to tease and hurt me and my nation on the most viewable channel in the world. Is it that easy and simple Christiane to humiliate Islam nowadays?
I understand that one can say whatever he wants as long as he is talking politics, but when it comes to religion it becomes serious and unacceptable.

Mrs. Amanpour, you owe your fans an apology.

Thank you for your valuable time.

    Your loyal program viewer,
    Houssam El Edelbi

Munafiq is an Islamic Arabic term used to describe a religious hypocrite, who outwardly practices Islam, while inwardly concealing his disbelief, perhaps even unknowingly.
For me, all this bullshit he is saying on the show is a media propaganda, Quran talked about these people 1400 years ago.
In the Quran sense the term refers to a person who does not have faith, but pretends to. "When the hypocrites come to thee, they say, 'We bear witness that thou art indeed the Apostle of God.' Yea, God knoweth that thou art indeed His Apostle, and God beareth witness that the hypocrites are indeed liars." – (Qur'an 63:1)

If he can betray his father,he can betray anyone. This person is a piece of crap!!!...

What Yousef is telling us is that there excists a new believe in mankind that is stronger then Islam or Christianity on its own but in 2010 tells us to take a new step not beiing afraid to reject any form of fundamentalism. The Bible Koran or Thora do not give us sufficiant knowledge how to live in 2010 or the right way how practicaly to care about/for a healthy world, justice, mankind and family. It can be read in these holy books but the interpretation is dubious when we do believe in the rightiousness of just one of them. I admire the courage of Yousef to believe in a God that inspire men to seek a solution for all kind of believers as long as they do not proclaim to have the right to kill because of it.

christiane you're a modern day priestess..keep it up..
Yousef you're a modern day prophet...whether on the side of light/thruth or that of darkness/propagandas..time will tell.

But every prophets face such challenge, dishoned by family, being called a blasphemy or devil or madman etc.

but my concern is why shift from an existing religion/faith (in this case islam) to another existing one (christianlity)? why not a new one? well if it is the original christianity..the faith of the first century christians, not the one founded on a pauline version 3 centuries after the real christ, then i can overstand!

for muslims don't take it as an offence (anger limit one's spiritual growth), on the contrary expand yourself go might see something brighter!

I don't understand how this man is a hero; he betrayed one group of murderers for another. The problem with this interview, or at least the way its perceived, is that it perpetuates the idea that the Muslims are the terrorists, always the terrorists. Most Palestinians are not fundamentalists and this is not an example of an exceptional figure who rejected some sort of mass Palestinian ideal of violence. And no one can honestly say that the Israelis neither practice terror nor target civilians, because they absolutely do both as well. Unfortunately, no one will be a true hero in the Middle East until someone can find a way to solve problems with peace. There's no need to vilify one group when both are performing awful practices.

Brave man, thinking out of the box. I just hope they will not kill him.

Coming up against mainstream view in Muslim world needs a unique person of character and courage. Especially when it comes to anything to do with Israel. Muslims are so brainwashed with their infinite hate toward Israel that it is impossible to talk sense to them. If there would be more people like Mosab a just peace for everybody could be reached. But from my meetings with many Muslim folks all over the world they will stop at nothing in their will to destroy Israel. This dream is in their hearts from early childhood. I am often amazed by this phenomena of senseless hatred. They will blame anything on the face of the earth on Israel. I am talking about educated people with university education here in America. They behave like Hitler mob in Nzi Germany. I hope Mr Mosab can protect himself.

His whole argument is negated by the fact that Israel kills far more innocent civilians than Hamas, and indeed it has always been that way because it is Israeli "collective punishment" policy to do so. For example, Israel has killed 1,441 Palestinian children since September 2000. Hamas has killed 124 Israeli children during that same period.

I think that the cardinal message in Yousef's philosophy is "Love your enemies' and not "Kill your enemies" .I sincerely believe that this is the only solution to the current ugly conflict in the Meddle East . Hamas must know that it can not reclaim the Land by killing people or by the primitive acts of violence. I admire Yousef courage to stand for the truth which Muslims deny. As long as Islamic religion/ groups institutionalize violence in the Middle East .No peace is insight for the Middle East. IT HAS NEVER WORKED!

I am a Filipino-Muslim who grew up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in an Islamic environment, and I do not regret my life living as a Muslim. Though I have not fully read and memorized the Qur’an but I am sure that Allah (swt) has not commanded His people to kill. Mossab is generalizing the idea that Allah is at fault in the situation that is happening in his life, in the place where he grew up. Mossab has definitely ignored other people, especially other Muslims who are not part of Hamas. I feel sorry for him because he was brought into this world with these emotions and experiences.

I don't blaime Mosab Yousef because he does not have enough knowledge and educational to discuss such issues internationally. It is his personal view, but what in Holy Quran and Allah instructed Muslim all of are for brining peace and humanity.

1-he have the right to convert to cristinity and co-operate with israel against hammas but he dont have any rights to declare about (thier god and cristin god) ,we all have only one god (and not to say that the proplem in our god).
he choose his benfit to live in america have a money, he only looking for (the material live)not more regardless the philosophy of relegion,he only hiding his materail need behined the relegion (diffierence).
2-he is clear he is reufused totaly the (principles of Jihad in Islam)
in addition to he dont understand it,he is thinking it is killing the civilinas of israel,he suddenly forget what israel doing in palestenians since 1948 until now, he remeber and suffering only from hammas's reactions against israeli occupation.

No need to insult all muslim for what few of them have done or think. Mr Yousef is very narrow minded and is trying to be famous in a terrible way.

To be honest, Mosab Yousef confesion will be very difficult to comprehend by mere mortals, he will be certainly called names. But let us remember that even Jesus was viewed in his time as been demon possed, blasphemus, crazy, one who betrayed his brothers and parents and so on. Mosab Yousef will not be an exception.
"Those who have ears let them hear" before It is too late.
My advice to Mosab Yousef, is to first congratulate him for this bold step that he has taken in life. It only takes one who has had a true encounter with God to do this. Many are out there trapped in this serious personal, spiritual and emotional conflict, but afraid to take up there destiny in there own hands. second advice is that he should not condem any body or any religion in the course of his christian life. The journey that he has now chosen to undertake will not and I repeat, be an easy one. Let him know that he will definitly face persecutions in all sides even with the so called christians. But he should never give up, be strong, try your possible best to save other lifes, go underground, and remain in christ till the end. I can asure you that you will never regrate your action. For the Muslem faithfuls, this is a challenge and now the time to prove to the entire world that Islam is truely the religion of peace, forgiveness, freedom of human right and compassion as it has been preached, by their action and response to Mosab Yousef position. The world is watching with keen interest.

not ONE SINGLE word about Jewish lives he saved

how typical of you to interview the spokesman of a terrorist organization, an anti-Israel Israeli journalist and an "expert" whio interviewed many Arabs, but not a single Israeli according to the slide you showed about him

Your new programme has greatly altered my opinion of you after the scandalous ways CNN and your self threw proffessionalism into the dust bin post 911 and instead choosed to follow the bush ideology of helping them to lie to the whole world.

Son of Hamas is an interesting fellow but i think he needs pschological evaluation. The fact that you are born as an Arab does not make you the best muslim. He claims to have memorised half of the Qu'ran, yet that is not a proof of faith. The conflict in palestine is not a b/w christian and muslim. Killing the innocent is never justifiable.

Mosab Yousef you are the HERO!!
I'm trying to be christian, who looks at the problem aside, some people may say. I don't know the problem as well as you know it. But I'm TOTALLY AGREE with you, and not because you turned into Christianity, but because the things you look at. You're right. I feel sorry that so many people will turn against you, but they're wrong. You maybe in danger, but I loved your response, that I admire you for, on question if you are afraid because of danger. Human's death could be only sweet compared to soul death.
God's love should be the key.
God don't want from us to kill each other. I don't know Koran (Quran) book, but as even as weak christian I respect it as much as Holly Bible. We believe that we are all brothers, and I respect Muslims the same as Christians and believers of any Religion. We can live together, no God nor anybody is telling me that I need to kill believers of any religion or nonbelievers. I think the problem is in interpretation. I don't think that killing soldiers and/or especially civilians – OUR BROTHERS – which ever religion they follow is God's will. It is in us, poor humans who are weak and easy to go wrong and make wrong decision, especially if influenced by fundamentalist that exist in any religion. Many people easy call them self Catholics, it is easy to say, but myself, I'm saying, I wish to be one. It is so hard to be Catholic, it is ideal. We as humans are so fragile that it is hard to be real Catholic. It is so hard way to go. Perhaps I'm wrong but I think it is similar challenge for Muslims. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt that Koran (Quran) expect from Muslims to kill other people. I leave and work among Muslims, I respect all of them as well they respect me. Even I never seen individual before, traveling to other country, and even without knowing if he is believer or nor, and what religion he follow, the first thing that come to my mind is RESPECT, LOVE, PEACE. We never crossed each other path in such a way that we had to hate or fight with each other. More over I learn a lot from my Muslim colleges. There is too many wrong opinion about Muslims or Arabic peoples. There is a lot that we can learn from them. We should avoid any unnecessary stereotypes. We should help each other, save the lives not take them away.
    LOVE is the Key.
    Stay in Peace.

    dear Mrs. Amanpour,

If this guy is so against hamas cruelty and all the activities they do, why does he offend 1.3 bl. people by saying the real gangster is God of the Moslims. Even i being not a moslim find it in someway very offensive.
He also says that he knows everything about Qoran and Bible. my question to this guy is, why does he talk about God of moslim and god of christians, aren't they both the same god with the same ideology; living in peace next to eachother. He must also know that in Qoran it is forbidden to suicide. Those who do that, will be punished in hell.
so this doesn't give him the right to make such a ridiculous comment now that he is a christian. Shouldn't he respect others relegion in order to live in peace with eachother?

Why is it for this guy necessary to involve religion in order to blame one group of poeple (hamas) who kill another group (jewish)? This is a cultural issue. if someone invades your area then the law of human being act upon that to defend it. It has nothing to do with relegion.

the only way for this guy to increase the popularity of his book is to feed poeple with something which attract their attention. This is done from a psychological and Marketing perspective. this guy shouldn't be taken seriously!

Beside one's questions about the credibility of the Son Of Hamas's claims, he came across to me as a deranged guy, mentally and emotionally, who lost his bearings and wants to make himself a hero.
As a double agent with split loyalty, he couldn't have been of much value to Shin Bet. or to Hamas.. His aim to make Israel a loving occupier and Hamas a humane resistance movement is a cynial notion that demonstrates his naivete. His challenge of the misguided Islamic ideology is brave, but I fail to see how he can promote true Islam by becoming Christian !
There are more critical issues on the Palestine Question that call for Amanpour's extraordinary journalistic ability and insight than the comedy of the Son of Hamas.

To begin with I do respect all religions, because we were told by Our Quran and by our Prophet to do so, but what I really don’t understand the big fuss about someone who converted to Christianity when so many Christian are converting to Islam every now and then. If he is convinced that this is the right path for him then its up to him, but with all respect to the hostess of the show she should realize that she offended all Muslims by just watching her show and hosting this guy on CNN.
The problem with so many people around the world that they are very narrow minded and really don’t read anything about Islam, all what they know is what they hear or read from some sources that should not be trusted in conveying the real message of Islam. If you really want to know what Islam teaches then go and find a translated version of the Quran and read it; don’t read some books that were written by some people that hate Islam to begin with. Yes Quran asked Muslims to defend themselves if they were attached by others, but never asked them to attack innocent people, and at the same time Quran called for peace so many times. So why Muslims can’t defined themselves when they are being attacked and they will be called terrorist but its not the case when G. Bush wanted to “defined his country” after 9/11. Why when someone kill so many people in malls, universities and other in Virginia, Omaha, and Oklahoma they will call them CRAZY or Mentally disabled but one some CRAZY Muslim goes and kill some people they will him a terrorist. As Christian, Jews or any other religions have some twisted mind people also do Muslims.
Many people should realize that as you have some crazy people we do have them too. And yes many people will convert and twist the meaning of the Quran into so many different ways to fit their agenda and goals, but all has nothing to do with Islam and Muslims. Please go and interact with true Muslims and see if they are really terrorist or not. Our prophet and his followers after him asked his people and his solders not Kill an innocent person, not to kill an elderly, a women or a child, not to destroy a house or cut a tree, this what our prophet told us to do.

Please do not generalize, and respect other religions and respect each other, we love Jesus and Mary, if you read the Quran you will find one whole Chapter named Marry, read the quran and you will find that Jesus was mentioned so many times as a great prophet with so many miracles that he can do. Read the Quran you will find the truth.

Hey this world needs love and peace, not hatred and air of intolerance . Kindly help world to weed out terriosm rather than sensational stories. This bleeding universe need peace and we have had enough of hatred. Be it Islam, christanaty, Juddism all teach peace. We all can live as humans and provide space to each other.
Let me remind this world, Quran says it you kill some one, as though you have killed whole humanity.
Hope and pray peace prevails on our beloved earth.

Mosab Yousef attacked Islam and the Holly Quran without understanding the true message and the spirit. And his claim is understands the Quran better than others.
Deep study of the revealed religions take us to a point where we have to agree that the bottom line is what Islam says, what the Holy Quran says.
It were the people who distorted the true message – sorry to say – and pattern of worship and made some religions only rituals or might I say glamourised them by adding what’s beyond a rational approach.
To understand the truth of the matter one has to do comparative study without any stereotypical approach or a mindset at waging a war by deliberately not understanding what’s clearly stated.
Anyone who reads the Quran with the intention to get the true message and guidance will surely get it. The arguments in the Quran touch deep inside one’s heart and mind because of the rationality. Had I been of any other faith, and then read the Quran, without any bias, I would have embraced Islam because of its rationality, message, and reward in the life hereafter.
Moab Yousef, I must say, has some psychological problems and he immediately needs to consult a psychiatrist. Sometimes a person faces the worst circumstances and that’s the time when one’s faith is tested. Remaining steadfast is the key to success. But before sticking to any ideology one must have clarity of thoughts based on rationality and not idealism or sort of Greek myths.
I am not a fundamentalist, an extremist who blindly follows the wrong notion. Frankly, Jihad isn’t what the western world knows. It’s not for destruction, it’s not for killing civilians, it’s not what a bunch of terrorists say it is. It’s been taken in a totally wrong connotation. There is a misrepresentation, misinterpretation and misunderstanding. An open debate between the Islamic scholars and other religious scholars must be held so that the misunderstanding is done away. It will help not only understanding the faiths but also create an environment of tolerance and love.

Musab, I have to congratulate you, mission accomplished, everybody thinks you’re a jerk (if that’s what you wanted to prove). Otherwise, you need a dose of reality, ISLAM is the best religion on the face of the planet whether you like it or not and we (MUSLIMS) don’t need a jerk like you. Talking about Quran in such a way is a stab to the heart for every muslim. Christians in Palestine don’t think of you as a hero you are nothing but a cheap traitor so don’t try to get on anybody’s good side.
I really enjoy your shows, you’re a real actor, the problem is that Americans are so naïf and they fall for it. You betrayed GOD and your own people so they’re next on the list.
You don’t belong to any religion, you don’t have one so find yourself another story because people are going to get sick of you it’s only a matter of time.
By the way, get your facts right next time, Muslims are not terrorists!!. We don’t kill innocent people and it breaks our hearts as muslims to see children and women killed in bombings. You are a cold blooded murder yourself.

To give Mosab Yousef a platform to become a born again ? is rather sad.
How many Palestinian men, women and children died a a result of him finding his inner truth.
The words Quisling, Collaborators and Turncoat have been applied in History against those who have worked against justice and their own citizens. We all know the end result.

I knew it would come to this someday. It would all blow into the open that there is a hidden agenda in all the suicide bombings and terrorism going on in the world today: some extremist Muslims are attempting to spark off a Christian/Islamic war.

Sadly, their pool of recruits come from the 1.5billion other ordinary Muslims who somehow retain a resentment for Christianity and the west. And throughout time this resentment will remain,no matter what western governments do.The sooner the rest of us understand this, the better.

And Christianne's comment that Muslims not show anger is quite a risible one as anger and the show of anger are inherent in Islam, as has been shown throughout modern times.

for those who never lived in the middle east,
    this story is quite common.
but its differnt in the fact of the high profile of Musab , being the son of a hams leader.
if he turned against his religion , it proves that he has the courage of introspection, not hypocrite.
when the dogmas of religion impose on common people the severity and the intolerance of its nature , one like Mosab must rise against this very nature to overcome it.
of course Islam will feel exposed with this revelation., and fatwas will be issued agaisnt him, as it was for those who converted , notably one of the main Egyptien Sheikh who became a christian.
As far as Hamas is concerned , we hope the palestinian people will eventually free themeselves from their dictatorship.

Who is tolerent and who is not. One has to make a judgement.

Good job Mosab! you gained fame and wealth, but used a very immoral way. By the way, if you are right, then u had beeter keep on spying for Israel, because you left the job unfinished. There are still people men, women and children and also your own family lvining in Palastine. Oh, i forgot that you did it for material gains. Good timing. Still young to enjoy money and fame. It is great to see such smart young person within many lost young Muslims. But I disagree in his argument with regards to Ideology of Muslim. There is nothing wrong with the Ideology. The problem is the implementers of the Ideology. Shifting from one religion to another is not a solution because we saw cruelty among Christians also. It is recent history that Christians killed many in Africa for the sake of slave and resources in the name of God. Those were who implemented the religion but there was no problem with the Ideology. So you didn't need to change your religion but you could bring change while you were Muslim.

Amampour, you know that, you are a great woman and a great journalist ?.and that Iam a big fan of your program, and I admire you in person, and your great work..But in my humble opinion ,with due respect,I think Amampour was biased in her interview to this indept analysis of this great revelation,of the great, young converted muslim prophet boy.I comment you any way Amampour, for we regard you as the priestess of our CNN. You know the truth is bitter ?.
For the boy spoke with common sense,as to his spiritual and morally transformed revelation of Islam.I am a muslim, in otherwords, You know that 95 percent of the muslims in this world, support HAMAS, BIN LADIN,IRAN,MALYSIA SYRIA ?.I saw in this comment "where Adeel Mughal quoted the Qu'ran 63:1......that the hypocrites are indeed liars ...."The question is, who is lying ?Is it SON OF HAMAS ?or the QU'RAN ?.When a muslim kills a christian,is he killing one another,or he is only getting rid of a kaferi(infidel)?. I Quote the Qu'ran with respect in."sura 47:4 &7. all muslims are commanded by Allah to BEHEAD any one who does not accept the teachings of Islam ...Sura 2:190-191 and several others command true muslims to fight those who do not believe them" and slay them, kill or they should be nailed on a tree or their hands and legs be cut off,or they be driven out of the land.....) wherever you catch them"
And according to the verses, they would be helping Allah by so doing .In Sura 5:36 &38 the prophet of Islam reiterates:"Fight vigorously in his (Allah's) way that you may prosper".
If words have meaning, then Christianne Amampour, we can confidently say from the quotations above that, submission to Allah (Islam) is not just in prayers and zakat as some would want the world to believe in us,but also in obedience to the order for killing in order to spread.
So who is a liar or a hypocrite?.Mosab or the Qu'ran or non of the above ?.

Indeed, 2013 would be the beginning of a new era.

Do not be disheartened nor despair Muslims worldwide. Renew, rewrite and unify your Hadiths and make your Hadith in line with the Quran. Remove all references of terror. And change Bait'ul Mukadis and alQuds to reference Constantinople rather than Jerusalem. Include human and women rights in your renewed Hadith and remove tracts that legalise child, women and sexual abuse. Institute the practice of having women as imams and muftis, in line with the first 300 years of Islam when there were women as leaders and scholars.

Give Jews custody of Palestine and your religion will once again fluorish as it had during the days of the glory of Baghdad.

Since the Quran is given by word and the Hadith is given in dreams, you can always dream a new dream and see a new vision.

    Dear Christianne
i believe this young man does not feel safe if not he would not be in the US, and secondly if a man can betray his father for fighting for their ow homeland, then you should as this young man to convert to Judeism because Christianity has more trouble in it than Islam and a man who runs to his neighbours house because his is on fire, should think of where he would run to when his neighbours house also faces trouble.
I would solve the problem at home if i were him.

The only thing I thought I liked with the young man was that he seemed at first to have transcended the orthodox ecuminical religions: christianity and Islam. These two are responsible for the most troubles of this world for some time now. But I realised he is just another religious jingoist.

The believe that one religion orGod is better than the other has always been the genesis of all the troubles, and both of these religions are the most guilty of this.

Unbelievable how many people are "insulted" by the truth. The truth is that there is no perfect country or individual but there are degrees of good/evil. Yousef happened to decide that he thought one side was making more egregious acts of violence unnecessarily and toward the wrong tartets. His goal was to save lives on both sides. That is apparent from the interview. As long as lives were saved on all sides, isn't that a good thing?

For those who do not agree with him or believe what he is saying read the Bible for yourselves, learn to love your enemies, and learn to take a sacrificial risk as he did, by not using the rational of your upbringing or culture but the rational of God. Mosab Yosuf was correct. Moslems all over the world are true victims of their own faith – Islam. They are no more victims than the Germans and Chinese were under 'Mien Kempt' and 'red book'. Take away these books, then we have the most loving, moral, law abiding Germans and Chinese as we have today. Moslems must extricate themselves from this cloak of lies. Only then they would have love, peace and ability to co-exist with people of other faiths.

Like to make a nut shell comment, that Islam allows to change religion, tell lie, etc if his life is in danger. Secondly we Muslim will convert, if you will proof who killed most civilians number of times. what I mean give me a count in last 60 sixty years how many Israeli civilians were liked, how many palestinian were killed, how many Palestinians soldiers were killed, how many Israeli solders were killed, lets make a list year by year. Please tell me if I am wrong, Israeli killed, and injured hundreds of thousand Palestinian civilians in last 40 years in piece time over Israeli civilian.
Now Bottom line is that we including America, Palestine, Hamas, Israel and all Muslim head of countries, must involve to bring peace because each life on both side is important. fact is that Israeli and Muslims are the off spring of Profit Ibrahim and related.

Such an important interview. Although Amanpour shows her prejudice, by appearing incredulous of Yousef's integrity.
    Two cogent point's Yousef makes;
    1. The Koran teaches 'killing of the infidel', the basis for jihad, i.e., terrorism;
    2. That there is a moral difference between Israel's method of defense, and radical Islamic groups' murder of innocent's.
That his conversion to Christianity got him to this understanding is laudable.
His telling of the truth is courageous, and the only way the Palestinian's will stop being the victim's of the 'power monger's'.
Yousef is correct in saying that it is ideology, not the terrorist's that is the enemy! Bravo!

Give me a break – if this is a high level double agent I'm Sadam Hussein reincarnated. Or, on the other hand, might be the reel thing. Just look how right we were on WMD. We are spending Billions on a make believe evildoers of George Bush's. And Chenny is still babbling over anything that the news media will listen to. This may be as good as it gets. What a scary thought.

    Dear Amanpour,

I was very disheartened about your program. I am suprised that you are prepared to interview "lunatics". This guy explains to me why the Palestinian problem has never become a Muslim problem. It is a war that the Palestian lost more because of their stupidness which the Israelis rightly exploited. Your interview candidate is a good example of the Palestinian lunancy.

Much as I abhor what the Israelis are doing in Gaza are no different that the Nazis did to them in the past, I do not think that a war being fought for borders and lost makes the Israel make Islam their enemy.

Also finally, I do not intend to read "Son of Hamas" and I would like you to get the details using the Freedom of Information Act on the Visa status of the Yuosef for getting a permit to stay in USA. that will explain the conversion to Christianity but many like me would never consider that he was ever a Muslim in the first place- thus the notion of conversion is a fallacy. Incidentally, there is only one God.

    Good luck and best wishes

It is freightening to me (as an American living a sheltered life, who's only exposure is this kind of coverage) that there can be such a deep seeded loathing between people who share everything but a culture. If history is our only indicator, these people have a long road ahead. My utmost respect to those have put themselves between these people to try and bridge a vast divide! Thank you for what you do, Ms. Amanpour! This was enlightening!

Christiane – Great show. Clearly the cat is out of the bag.

I am a Muslim and read Quran. I agree with Mosab on a few selected thoughts.

If Moslems want to prosper in this world they MUST give up violence and terrorism. Quran DOES NOT teach violence.

Saudi Arabia, must take the lead in condemning violence and terrorism. They have to come out openly. They cannot play this double game. Their words do not match to their deeds.

Saudi has used Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt and other poor Islamic countries to propagate the Wahhabi form of Islam.

Saudi has to realize that this will come to haunt them.

Pakistan is playing this same game. The Pakistani Taliban is hurting Pakistan. As the adage goes "The chickens have come home to roost". Pakistan learn your lesson. STOP harboring Al Qaeda and stop supporting extremism and terrorism

Lastly why is there so much violence, hatred, terrorism, fighting only in Moslem countries?

All I can say about Mosab Yousef is that, he is sick and money talk. I am sorry, for cnn to let such a person on their program talk the way he talks. He is confused. He doesn't know what he is talking about. He claims he knows quran. He is ignorant. He was not good for islam and he will not be good for christianity either.

P.S. Ms. Amanpour reminds Yousef that he is in danger, yet asked Ayan Ali another one who left Islam, why on earth she would need 24-hour guards? And she asked in another interview with Dutch MP Geert Wilders why he felt endangered – after a filmmaker in Holland was knifed to death in the streets by a Muslim fanatic. Ms. Amanpour must now realize that anyone who leaves Islam or dares to discuss that religion and its "god" risks being killed for simply speaking their minds. Thank heavens for that.

Islamic religion is based on terror and missionary ideas. In history the Islamic religion had corrupted their education and left them behind after being a very developed society. The religion was originally developed in deserts in the Arabic countries and by that you understand how terror and and hate was seeded and built over the years after Jews and Israelis had developed and rise to success. Jews and Israelis had developed and succeed in all fields of education.
compare the amount of Jews in the world to the percentage of Jewish Nobel price winners. Many guys will think its biased comment but let just look at the statistic of terrorism and see what religion is most corrupted. In the past, christian leaders were missionary and tried to control the world, my hope is that Islamic people will develop like christian and the fantasist will fade away.

I believe that this man is very troubled. I appreciate that he wants to stop suicide bombing and all the other stuff but I disagree with him on how he went about doing it. He was the son of a Hamas Leader, he had power if he tried. He could have changed things inside out instead of going out right against them. I believe even if he failed trying to better the hamas reputation, he would have made more of a difference than he has now. And how he says he goes against "Their God", I don't exactly like because Islams God is Christianity's God and Judiasms God. The difference is how we percieve.

interesting program. It is hard to say whether his story is 100% true, but he shows lots of inner strength to be denounced by all his family and stay true to his convictions. I captured his understanding of faith in any religion(Christianiity, Judaism, slam etc, that you are to love and not kill your enemies.. My reading of the Koran says that Muslims should not get too friendly with Jews and Christians. I would like to hear from Muslims to help me interpret that differently . I would hope that anyone who professes faith recognizes that in every religion there are fanatics that are not mainstream to their religion. Thanks for telling this story. I love your interviewing on this important topic

This interview, and surely the book Son of Hamas, is a living testimony of the power of Jesus Christ to change a persons heart from the inside.
Apostle Paul 2000 years ago, had an encounter with the Saviour and his heart was changed from persecutor to defender of the Christians.
The same saviour that tuched Mosab Yousef, tuched Timothy Abraham from Egypt and transformed from a radical Muslim zealot, to an unabashed supporter of the Jewish people.

The interview with Mosab Hassan Yousef and what he had to say about Hamas, Islam and Israel was quite interesting. Another example of how organized religions and their leaders do humanity and our planet no favors. My only regret was not having seen Mosab realize the ills of any organized faith and pursue secular humanism instead of trading Islam for Christianity.

    Dear Christiane Amanpour

Thank you for presenting the interview with Mosab Yousef so we can judge for ourselves his intentions.

I believe Mosab. He is one who has discovered that love is better to embrace than revenge or justice. He is the best friend of Islam that I have ever seen because he has the courage to love his Muslim friends and point out errors knowing that he may be crucified for doing so.

He is a walking miracle and I thank you and CNN for allowing me to see him. Though your interview, I have hope for peace in the seeming impossible conflict between Israel and her neighbors.

And to you Mosab Yousef, thank you for opening your heart to the intentions of Our Heavenly Father. Your own father raised you well, to be a man who cares and wants what is holy. May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless you with the grace you need to accomplish His Will.

Christiane, you took a gold mine that could have enriched the world and you ruined it with your vapid questions. You made a mockery of that man's courage and defiance of islam's teaching, at the risk of his life. You promised a real interview and you caved in to an iranian propagandist, an israeli leftist, and a Hamas criminal. Your insinuation that Mosab is a liar and not credible and the attempt by gerges to paint Mosab as mentally disturbed without being challenged has taken away the respect I had for your reporter's courage. I understand that you are afraid to be killed by some islamic terrorist just as the dutch and danish journalists fear for their lives, but I expected more form you.
Mosab, you are an amazing person and your transformation is very easy to understand: You love life and your father more than an ideology that asks young men to kill themselves and innocent bystanders. In my book you are what every human being should aspire to be. If everyone was like you, this world would truly be heaven and we would not need to die to hope to get into heaven.

Thank you Christiane for you remarkable interview with Mosab Hassan Yousef.

I do agree with Mosab Hassan that the war is between the ideology of two God's , The God in Bible(A God who taught us to love your enemy ) and The God in Quran (A God who taught Terrorists to Kill your enemy – I do not believe such a God exists, that is not a God ), I never read Quran but this is my understanding from the word Jihad the terrorists use.
Hassan is a Christian who do not fear the death of physical body but fear about the death of his Spirit, which is Holly. Hassan understand what Bible says, which is only few people got the Will of God to understand the Bible.

May the almighty God Bless you Hassan. Lord Jesus Christ will guide you. Isaiah 41:10 "Do not be afraid – I am with you! I am your God – let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save you".

We are faced with an indoctrinated Hamas Terrorist who has turned his back on his own people
because of the atrocities they commit in the name of Islam.
What do we sophisticated cynical Westerners do? We rush in to express dismay, suggesting that,
notwithstanding his putting his life on the line, he must have ulterior motives.
Both the Palestinians and the Israelis are victims of the Arab Despots self-serving agenda.
The US Administration, in concentrating their efforts on fighting the intimidated, indoctrinated, subversives, is ignoring
the Despot's Agenda of combating Democracy by financing both the Islamic Supremacy studies in the Madras and the arming of International Terrorism.
The Despots' agenda is to ensure the perpetuation of their own regimes by combating encroaching Democracy, in the Middle East.
Iran has as its objective to provide the compelling Atomic Power to assure the ascendancy of Sharia throughout the world.
If the Democratic forces don't get around to giving the Saudis/Iranians/Syrians an offer they can't refuse – Democracy should prepare for the ensuing Dark Ages.

It seemed to me that you truley enjoyed watching him insulting the God of Islam which is by the way the same God as the Christians and the Jews. A fact that even you should have known. O.k. so that is one of the 5 or 6 people converted from islam to christianity. are you going to balance this obvious slanted take on the issue by dedicating at least one hour for the thousans of people who convert to islam every month. He has now seen the difference and I urge him to take care for his life. It's on record that most extremists can go to any length to get at their perceived opponent. For Christine, Keep up the good work. Each time I watch your series of interviews, I just can't help but applaud your high level of professionalism. FYI people there are two division of Islam which Muslims around the dont want to elaborate about it becoz they dont wanna be viewed as divided ISLAM.. the SUNNI and SHIITE,.. HAMAS is SHiite MUslim they believe ALI is the last prophet.. Whereas Sunni Muslims believe that Mohammad is the last prophet..and there are so many diffrence between ds two.. whre in fact they hate each other! And MUSLIMS HATE JEWS/ ISRAEL..

in response to one of the post here why soo many CHRistians converted to muslims? one example expolanation here in AraB countries, they offered money if u will convert as muslims 2, 700 USD..isnt a big money for a weak spiritual person? hahah.. and second. muslim can marry several times whereas christians can be married once only not unless divorce.. well a lusterous person preffered plenty of woman..

and in addition for those who doesnt know..the punishment is very strct and brutal if someone will rape a girl! but, sooo many cases that there is a harrassment and rape for boys but there not punishing a single person in it.. ARAB boys love man.. hahha.. such a gay people. ! well, im just telling the whole truth.. DONT COME HERE IN THE MIDDLE EAST IF YOU DONT HAVE A MUSTACHE BECOZ ARAB man WILL FALL INLOVE WITH YOU AND WILL KEEP ON STARING WITH you...hhhahaha..thats the truth! and when your in the dark you will pulled,...BElieve me.. sooo many cases here!

another fact is: WESTERN COUNTRIES are allowing them to live and be citizens there whereas if you go to the MIDDLE EAST no way for you be a citizen if you are not a muslim! tsk3x.. wanna rule the world? ewww...

From all indication, the Muslim world is terribly hurting for the conversion of the "Son of Hamas" and for the revelations he made to CNN's Amanpour. They'd wish he was dead, but the truth remains that he has done what is reasonably required of a man who has genuinely repented. Muslims should stop vilifying Christiane for doing her job, instead they should think about this "God" who asks them to kill even their own people without any justifiable reason. The God I know says He is not interested in the death of a sinner, but the the sinner should repent and come into eternal life. Muslims, which God are you guys really talking about. This was lifted from a muslim contributor from Nigeria for the discerning minds: ...."The question is, who is lying ?Is it SON OF HAMAS ?or the QU'RAN ?.When a muslim kills a christian,is he killing one another,or he is only getting rid of a kaferi(infidel)?.

    Make up your mind

Regarding suicide bombers: I watched some documentaries on suicide bombers and kids living in Gaza. What jumps out at me is that these folks have lived with Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD) WAY TOO LONG. They had to deal with way too much, way too young. The trauma has affected all of them to the point that they have come to this end...suicide bombers. They want to live. They just don't want to live that life. And who would want to? They are ALL victims. To me, on the outside looking in, through what few documentaries I have seen from there...this looks very similar to childhood sexual abuse. Not just post traumatic stress...PTSD looks like an umbrella over all traumas, but childhood sexual abuse is worse because kids don't have resources...all they can change to deal with the abuser is their mind. It has gotten to the point where they can't find reason anymore. All these kids had was rocks to throw at tanks. They were taught to be suicide bombers...but this whole thing is wrong. The adults are messed up (lousy circumstances, lousy information, poorly taken care of, poorly protected themselves), and the kids have only them to follow. This whole thing is wrong. Hopefully somebody with enough power will figure out that this doesn't work and get incredibly honest information out there (I don’t know you and have never seen you before. I don’t know anything other than what I have seen in documentaries, but I see that in you in this interview. You can do that. It's all there. But, you need some work with trauma…so you can bring that piece forward also. Suicide bombing just makes it worse…not better. It’s telling women and kids that they aren’t worth anything. They are. Adults are supposed to protect each other…not sacrifice them.) Also, if you get a chance…read Carol Gilligans work (In A Different Voice, The Birth of Pleasure, The Deepening Darkness: Partiarchy, Resistance, & Democracy’s Future. It’s about men and women…and how we were trained a bit incorrectly…and how to shift that a little bit to gain a LOT.)

What happened over there is lousy leadership and people suffer under lousy leadership. It appears that it happened way before any of us were even born. It’s more our job to fix the errors of where we came from. Shift the perception. Innocent children are taught to be suicide bombers because its the only sense they can make out of this. Kids don't want to die. They want to play and go to the zoo and movies and such. (And to tell them they will be heroes is a lie. Don't lie to them. It's wrong.) Leaders need to tell their people the truth. People are going to know the truth. We know when people have wronged us. Like rape. We know. It doesn't go away. We will never forget. It is a violation against us...our body, our soul. We know. It doesn’t go away.

Nice interview. I understand that I am quite naive about the world you live in. I wish you well. The very best.

Christianity is good, but a bit patriarchical. The love part is nice. Protecting each other is nice. But, there needs to be a small shift where women's voices are heard equally with men. And it's not just women that suffer in a suffer also. So, we want to make a shift (that some call democracy) where both voices are heard and respected equally. Patriarchy teaches that men are over women and children...and even other men. A shift to include all voices...human...there is some controversy over corporations as humans because corporations don't have a conscience and that is a huge source of distress at times. But, they need to be more socially responsible also. We are living in a time where tremendous good can come of what we have learned from mistakes of the past. It's a matter of getting to that.

These are training issues. They can be fixed. But Christianity would slow your trip down a little bit. I am a born again Christian also, but it has some problems. To help speed up your trip a little might want to look at Carol Gilligans work. It starts with how we train our sons, and daughters. There are some fundamental flaws there. Not religion so much.

I did watch the documentaries on suicide bombers and the kids in Gaza...I watched everything I could find on it. As an outsider...I really have to say...I think they are all under too much stress and have come to a very bad end. It's not right. Kids want to go swimming and ride bikes...they really don't want to deal with violence at all. And shouldnt have to. I mean kids of all ages. Most of the people in those documentaries weren't very old. Has it come to that? That there are no old people there? There shouldn't be any young people there either. Too dangerous. It's too violent. This whole thing is a bad idea.

Seems like people just want to know the truth so they look for the most reliable author they can think of...God? And read the books by God. Then try to make sense out of that. But...God doesn't write books. (Typically men do.) So...where does that take us? Here. We have taught boys to think, but not feel (soldiers) and girls to feel, but not think (mothers). And we have done a terrible disservice to both, and all of humanity. Too much violence came of this type of training. We all have internal moralities...that are based on how we were trained by our parents, not religion. Could be a chicken and egg scenario...which came first, but I think I read that it was the parenting that came first. That we are training our boys to be soldiers...and that's not quite right. We need to go back and examine that more closely so we see what we are creating here. There appears to be a link to violence. Can we catch it there??? Is it a training issue? I'm leaning toward yes.

Not that we are training them to be soldiers, but being taught that they are better than others leads to violence. One group over another group seems to lead to violence. I'm sure someone better than me understands this stuff and can explain it better.

Individual moral decisions are internal...not based on religion. Kids make moral decisions before they even know what a God is. So, it seems to me that religion falls out. Religion is something that people acquire as they get older. Beliefs that we buy into. But, the potential for violence is before that. Before religion. It's when men are taught (as young that they didn't even have language yet) that they are over women and children, and other men. Some people think that's the seed for violence. Can we go back and fix that and see if they are right? There might be something to that. If we train our boys that it's ok to cry. That its correct to think and feel. Not to be soldiers. That women have a voice worth listening to. Teach girls not to shrink into the background. That our voices do matter. Even it out. Not just men and women, but race, cultures, and religions as well. It's a little too lop-sided right now.

There's too much violence at every level now. Not just there. Turn on the almost always appears to be men behaving badly. According to Gilligan, we started teaching men to be different almost the second they were born (before they even have language – that's why they don't know any has always been that way for them). So...don't be shocked that you are confused. We all are.

There's something about the way we are training our boys. We need to go back and look at that. It's not one boy. It's a whole society that is wrong...maybe a whole world. They are pretty sweet and innocent when they are kids. Running, swimming, bicycling, playing...not suicide bombers...see how that doesn't fit??? It just doesn't. It's just wrong. Kids need safe, well protected lives. Free from violence. We have some training issues to deal with.

I have watched the interview, it seems that Musaab lost his senses, because of being brainwashed. A person who understands Arabic, doesn't have any idea that god of Torah and god of Quran is the same One Allah, who revealed the two Books. And the Quran is the latest version of Torah, for which Allah has taken the guarantee of any changes in to this book, unlike Torah. Mosaab became a useful tool of Shaitan. Whom Allah misguide there is no one who can guide him. He still can repent although he became Murtad, by accepting Christainity. His spirtual or inner death already occurred, he have to wait for his physical death to see the truth.

An interesting interview and great questions by Amanpour. The young man takes great strength and courage to denounce a religion that is pure evil when it comes to supporting and dising out terrorism. What is actually happening in Jos Plateau State – Nigeria could be better attributed it to Islam which we all know that is not preaching but rather, it preaches terrorism, killing innocent people in the name of the Quran. Jesus said "Iam the light, the only way. Think.

I am thankful to all who made the program such a success especially the host, Christiane whom i admire a lot especially on how she handles her work.

The real issue for me is the different perspectives shared by various people from different background on the discussions (multiple realities). It is not about who is right and who is wrong because all of us cannot think in similar fashion. Aganst this backdrop, how can we (humanity) tolerate divergent views and still live in peace with one another????

I know a God from Holly Bible and who is full of Love. I can describe the whole Bible as Love. The relation between My Lords and I is a Father – Son relationship. My father (Lord Jesus Christ) taught me to love my enemy and taught me to love my neighbor (Islam, Christian, Hindu, Black and white) as I love myself. These formulas are the foundation for a peaceful life in the world. A strong foundation in Jesus Christ, Dear friends let me tell you one thing you cannot have a peaceful life if you are not ready to follow the rule of Love. I do not know how many of the converted Christians know these rules. But I am sure that Yousef knows and understand these rules and all the rules in Bible that is the reason Yousef converted to Christian. And decided to follow Jesus Christ and proclaim Jesus as the Lord.

****** Musab is very confused person, who doesnt recognize between enemies and friends, calling God disgusting names like if the Hamas God is different from others god.
*****He thinks that truth is beside the orgnized and well trained ppl, and those who are supported with equipments, no matter they were truly good ppl .!!!!!
***** MOSAD worked according to his agenda !!!!!!!! brainwashed.
*****He saved his own ppl lives by sending them to gail!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know cristianity will flourish again and fill world starting from one.
It have strong owner, manager, guard & shield for his followers. He can protect his words and scripts from swards the Almighty God.
Anyone can read both scripts and decide which to follow let us leave our people to choose.
So number of converters does't matter just let expose both scriptures without fear.

Christian you are the only one who dare to cross such controversial lines.
I have a word for those who are angry at Mossab.
" Read the word(The bible) and that shall set you free"
Your eyes will be opened and you will realize that Christianity is a religion of Love and not hate as it teaches to love your enemy, not to kill them.
Walk into any place where Christ is being preached and the word you hear is love your neighbor, love your enemy, God is love, God cares for those who don't follow him...
What has blided your understanding fellow humans? How could anyone possibly follow a religion that tell you to kill and hate others who aren't like you or don't follow your religion?
Satan is the only thing mentioned in the bible as the enemy of our good, the one who comes to kills and distroy. so, how can you justify the difference between islam and Satan if you follow the same principle?
I pray to God to open up your eyes like he did to Mossab and hep you see what you are standing on and come to the light, love and care for other human beings

I have a question to all real Islams, Can you guys please give me one word that describe the whole Quran? What is it all about? Is it talk about your God? Can you Islams give me the relation between you and the God (Alla) in Quran? Or what is Islam’s relation to God? And the people around you ? What Quran taught you about the relation to other people (people around you including Islams, Christians, Hindus , White and Black) ???? I really appreciate if any of you Islam can respond to these questions. You human being is thinking that God needs support from us (human being). God has created the universe and all living creatures in it. God does not need any support from us.

I agree with you Semira, Only Jesus Christ can save this world. Not Satan who is coming to destroy the world.

Benny Joseph, U have asked a question which is over 1400 years old, any way let me try to answer your question. Quran have no alternative word, it is a Constitution for whole of the mankind, revealed on Prophet Mohammed ( peace be upon him) From Allah the Creater, the way He has revealed the book on Jesus ( peace be upon him) and Moses ( peace be upon him) and Ibrahim (peace be upon him). But what happened was that those scriptures were altered by their leaders, and U don't see those books in original condition. So Allah revealed Quran on Prophet Mohammed( peace be upon him) for whole mankind, and has taken the guarantee of its protection from any changes or alterations till the day of Judgement. When every person will be answerable to Allah for his or her deeds. Whoever acted upon Quran and the pratices of Propher Mohammed will be admitted in to Paradise, and those who did otherwise will be admitted in to Hell. It is the only Constitution which guides mankind to straight path. In fact Christians and Jews are reading oblolete scriptures. Quran is most modern scripture, there will be no new book will be revealed by Allah. It is amazing that Muslims believe that Jesus, Moses, Noah, and Ibrahim are Messangers of Allah, but Christians and Jews don't believe in Prophet Mohammed as a messanger of Allah. Any more questions I will be available.

I don't accept any of Imtiaz Ali wrote which I used to say word by word for years.
Prophet Mohamed was condemned and unaccepted by his fellow Arab Qureshi at the begining and of his Islamis preach. So he was asking Qureshies to go and ask Cristians and Judaism followers that he brought simillar scripture and backing them.So Cristians & Judaism followers near Mecca and Medina didn't witness & affirm.
When Prophet Mohammed got strong He started revenge on Cristianse and Juddists for not supporting him when he cliam it is simillar.
You See Imtiaz Ali at early time he was supportive to the Bibel but at end he claim it is Altered.Didn't he knew it is altered at early days?Bibel was written 630 AD years befor him.
Do you how Qoran is wrote, the women keeping the it the Hafizes writing & keeping it?Or you belive on the original copy from Allah?
Why slauter to 500 jew men in Medina By his hand?
Why Jihad form a stong Messenger of Allah to decsent farmers around Mecca & Medina and many other places(even now goes on to cleasen & Islamize the world)?
Why slavery to women and endless marrage to man?(A man can marry 40 or 400 women the only thing he have to do is claim 3 times he divorsed, he can marry another he fill no guilty because Allah allowded him to do so).
Why Marraige to Asha when she is 7 and sleep with her when she is only 9 years old?
So Dear Imtiaz Ali if we are talking about alteration of scripts you can read Bibel and diside which script was supposed to be Altered.
I know every one of us take our religion from our MOM and DAD and drink it like a milk in a transparent glass.Changing religion seems to us betraying your family and country. So let us disscuss it without fear and curse to find the right one.I will burn my bibel & brake my cross if a true transparent techer comes better than Jesus.I love Jusus Like I love my father.I will fear him only when I am making sins.I didn't think he is trowing me fire to punish me,he forgive a women that to be stonned by her families!
God loves every one of us wether we are Islam,Cristian,Juddaism follower,Hindu,Budist or Pagan equaly because God is a teacher of true Love unlike Satan.
may the spirit of TRUE GOD be on us.
    Thak you

    Dear Imtiaz Ali,

I think you did not answer my questions, I never read Quran that is why I am interested to know what is there in Quran, does it talk about LOVE (a pure love, a person who is ready to give up his life for his friends)? . If it is altered (Quran) and you know that it is wrong then why are you following that (Quran)? Are you ready to give milk to your kids which is mix with poison. This is the time to think before you commit wrong. A time to think what is good and what is bad. If you did not read Bible this is the time to read Bible and understand and change your life. Lord Jesus Christ will save you, He loves you.
John 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". So listen what Jesus says.

Are you ready to proceed in a way which you know or someone says you that there is a trouble and you are going to die? Please please Love your neighbor as you love yourself irrespective of his color and religion. This is what Jesus taught us and only this can bring peace to the world.

Ab.Hafiz, If you don't trust one Allah, who created all the universe, including Noah, Ibrahim, Jesus, and Moses( Peace be upon them). You for sure are not going to trust my writings. if Muslims don't believe them as a messengers of Allah they are not Muslims. Isn't Prophet Mohammed is the last of messengers. Isn't Quran new version of Tourat, Zaboor and Injeel. Which Muslims believe were revealed by one Allah from time to time. This discussion will end on the day of Judgement, When Allah will decide who is right and who is wrong Insha Allah.

    Mr. Benny Joseph,
The Quran teaches of great love among many great things that mankind needed to know. From the creation of the planet earth, creation of angels and the devils, and mankind. Thus the Quran requires mankind not to indulge in false love, the kind that makes ones life a suffering, but the right kind of love that only due to the Creator. Yiu see. If somebody loves something or someone so much, how is he going to prepare for his spirituality? If somebody love his wealth, his wife or his children more than the Creator, his death would be very difficult fir him. The great Quran teaches mankind to live as easy and as peaceful as possible, thus, a follower of this Book is called a muslim, meaning a follower of peace and the one who submits to the will of the Creator, but these days many so called muslims indulges themselves in power, which is very very addictive, that causes them to go astray, out of the path of peace.

Dear Benny Joseph. You didn't read properly what I wrote. Quran is the only Book which will never be altered from its Arabic script till the day of judgement, Insha Allah. It is the only Book, which a person can memorise, this is the proof that Quran is the TRUE words of Allah, and will never be changed. This is miracle of Quran. Because Quran is a CONSTITUTION for mankind, it cotains every thing which a person requires in his or her life. Jesus is not god, he is one of the Prophets of Allah .He has been created by Allah like every other thing in the universe. If aperson associates partners with Allah, that is the biggest sin and he will go to Hell, if Allah wills. Allah will decide on the day of Judgement who is right and who is wrong, so no more discussions. Your religion is for you and my is to mine.

Dear Imtiaz Ali you promised "Any more questions I will be available" so what happen to you? Teach me or let me teach you.
1,First of all Cristians are free belive bibe or leave it any time NO HANDHANDCUFFS OR CHAIN ON HANDS. You can ask any question on it without fear."All Spirits are not from God "and" you should eximine all scripts befor you accept" Jusus teaches
2,God is perfect. No mistake on Gods words. yesterday, tommorow or next mellinium.Unlike human being God word leaves no place for trial and error, correction or amendment to his scripts.
3,Jusus Is God and God is Jusus.God is one and only one!Jusus is existance of God with his world that is why the then belivers call him Emanuel.Father God Jusus God and holly spirit God all one ane God.The Holly spirit (Rouhatel Qudus in Arabic )passd to a vergin women called Meryem and placed in her womb. Not biological mother.
4500 years after God chased Adam and Eve he sent himself to the world to be born as human to teach and sacrifise himself to replace the sheep blood (as in Torah and Zebur )and his blood sacrifice to cleen our sin.
4,We can keep a bank by security codes & guards,a Government by soldgers, borders by fighter jets and tanks. We can not keep Religion by Jihad fighters because if a reliogns belong truly from God he have more power than tanks, jets and swords!
Avoid the fear and silence Imtiaz Ali, read Jusus and discuss with true teachers, search the real one.

Your airing of an interview with an obscure and obviously disturbed and disoriented pompous traitor to his own people, and allowing him the time and latitude to insult 1.5 billion Muslims the world over at will went beyond bad judgment on your part to your being used as a member of the Mossad's propaganda choir to deflect attention from their Dubai folly, offending many in our part of the world on the way. If you are looking to do that, there is no shortage of twits out there who are ready willing and able to mischaracterize Islam and insult Muslims, but not on your watch Amanpour and not on your show. You are too savvy for that and you know better. We are deeply disappointed.
