She asks him about the controversies of the anti-homosexual legislation in his country and what his feelings are about gay people. Museveni maintains that before Uganda came in touch with Europeans, there were few homosexuals in that country. He also maintains, despite reports, that homosexuals have not been killed in Uganda.
