Christiana Amanpour you are a laghing stock of the so called correspondent establishment. You are a broken record just like our two Presidents Obama and Biden, all you worry about is ISRAEL, nothing else. You are not a news correspondent, you are a joke. Is there anything else worth reporting aside from "how does Arab Spring affect Israel"? To me this is so irrelevant that as soon you misguided dollops mention this six letter word I turn the reception off. Surely you could report news about the economy, how many US troops got themselves knocked off today in a stupid war, or how President Putin does not want to waste any time on talking to morons in the White House, and decided to talk to real people of South America.
The gang had removed Helen Thomas from the scene, because she was a real reporter, asking real questions, and the gang has replaced her with likes of Christiana Amanpour, the dollop!

I guess everyone in public life must deal with the deranged, but this comment is even more ignorant and more bigoted than it is insulting.

Dear amigocabal... I am afriad you are making a laughing stock of yourself instead,, I mean any major event in the Arab world or infact in any part of the world is likely to affect or impact us directly or indirectly.Arb spring is one such major event or rather an uprising which has created furore all over the world. For instance it was Arab spring which led to the outster of MUbarak government in Egypt and has infact created two major leaders to take over one of them being Mohammed Morsi who is likely to be the next president. The new leadership has infact reiterated in their preelection agenda that they would stress on a better relationship with Israel thereby creating the link between Israel and Arab spring.

Mohamed Morsi said all of the correct things about universal rights in a democracy. The question in any democracy is: Can the Muslim Brotherhood can be trusted? I find little evidence to support that hope.

If you notice, the media widely talk about things which are broad issues and what is a hot topic today (a feeding frenzy no less). If it were not for Amanpour talking Israel (and others like her talking about other issues that aren't as popular), the world would forget about democracy in the Middle East, American allies there, and foreign policy. I congratulate Amanpour for bringing Israel back into the news. You are doing a fine job!

PREDICABLE parroting of U.S. Policy / " concerns " by Mrs. Rubin . Most people are too ignorant to understand propaganda bcs they still think CNN is about "NEWS" and not pushing U.S. policy .
Asking for "Guarantee " that relationship w/ Israel will remain is such a silly propagandist question it's amazing people can't see through it . First of all the context is ( Crook Mubarak ) sold GAS to Israel at under market prices , a FACT CNN won't report to cover up for Israel and secondly EGYPT doesn't owe ANYBODY , Mrs. Rubin , Obama or Israel a "Guarantee " . THEY will decide what the relationship / agreement will be and THEY HAVE a RIGHT to reexamine the relationship , GET IT ?
I KNEW she before she started they would push " concern" angle for U.S. policy . EGYPT can vote for anybody they want and it's not Mrs' Rubin's concern or U.S. policy . Especially , ESPECIALLY AFTER supporting a brutal , torturing dictator , so it takes a lot of FN NERVE to question Muslim Brotherhood in that tone .
