Venezuelan-American attorney and author Eva Golinger knew and advised Hugo Chavez. In the video above, CNN’s Christiane Amanpour speaks with Golinger, who is a staunch supporter of Chavez’ policies, about his contradictory legacy: easing poverty, unemployment and infant mortality, but leaving the country with soaring inflation and crime rates.

Your guest Eva Gollinger should be stripped of her US citizenship. She got rich supporting Chavez and his hate for the USA and Israel, the middle class, labor unions and all free thinkers. She was on the same dais when Chavez in his Christmas address said "well we all know who killed Jeseus dont we,"With that he threw out the Israeli diplomatic delegation from Caracas.Ms.Golinger wrote and interpreted all the venemos speeches including the DEVIL speech
at the UN.She is a discrace and I am appalled you inviting these people on your show.

This interview was one of the worst things I've seen on tv recently. You called her in to state her view of things and then forced your opinion on her not letting her to finish one single sentence where she was trying to say something you didn't like. Why is it such a sin to disagree with you? You do realize that it was you who called her in. It's obvious that you hated Chaves, but shutting down someone who has good arguments where you don't have any is not journalism.

      Couldn't have said it better.
Unfortunately, this seems to become typical for Amanpour: that people who disagree with her will be shut down.
That is really too bad – because what's left is "opinion journalism" like on Foxnews or so.

I'll say one thing for Chavez: he wasn't on the side of the landlords. No wonder American conservatives - the biggest suck-ups on the planet - hated him so much.
