CNN's Christiane Amanpour examines violence in Pakistan just ahead of the country's first ever democratic transition of power.
Violence is frequent, commonplace and pervasive in Pakistan. It does not surprise Pakistanis. It should not surprise anyone outside Pakistan either. This is how they do things in Pakistan.
Sir, it is not "how they do things" in Pakistan. Rather, it is the resilience of the people of Pakistan to exercise their right to vote, elect a government that will cater to their needs and not be a puppet at the hands of external forces. Do not mock them on their miseries – they have lost their loved ones and their sons are as dear to them as ours are to us.
Fabulous report and thank you for reporting awareness. Hopefully demand will seize to put a halt on this madness!
This bombing and violins is only happen in the lower cast or the dark areas of Pak so it is acceptable under our traditions and practises. Otherwise else it is cool and nice. So CNN stop making too many headlines saying bombing, bombing bombing because that is not the case in my Pak. It is only in election times not all the times so you are being unfair. Also in Punjab there is no problem because ruling class and most important people come from Punjab also in our proud and brave military also they hail from Punjab. We are the real Pakistan that is the soil and water of Punjab also the colors od clothes and jewelery and food and fruits is always make my mouth water. That is my Pakistan.\May Allah bless and bless peace on My Pakistan.
Jiyo Jiyo mera Pakistan!
