CNN's Christiane Amanpour speaks with Seyed Hossein Mousavian, a former member of Iran's nuclear negotiating team, about Iranian President-Elect Hassan Rouhani, with whom Mousavian has worked closely.
He is gay that bring hope to the iranian society after 8 years of dark hopeless ahmadinejad period . He has good relationship with government while he wants to have good relationship with world . Believe me that calling iran as the axis of evil is useless and push iran to be really on axis of evil . We hope that politicians of western countries cooperate with him and bring back iran to the family . Isolated iran is much more dangerous than north korea . Iran is may be not a good son inthe world family but you shouldnt leave him with bad friends and push him to become criminal .
"Isolated iran is much more dangerous than north korea"
Dangrous to whom?
Neither of the countries have attacked any other coutries in this century. The USA and their friends and allies have started wars of aggression against Iraq and Afgahnistan, and keep attacking other countries with "drones". And they foment instability and internal conflicts in other countries under the slogans of promotion of freedom and democracy. They are not merely "dangerous", they are actively causing deaths and destuction around the world.
So, why Iran and NK are such a big threat? Or are they mere victims of the US bullying?
Is it not the US aggressive bahavior that needs to be stopped?
He is exactly like Morsy with a turban. no difference
Hossein Mousavian, the terrorist who was involved in the Mykonos assassinations of the innocent Kurdish dissidents in Germany. Support Iranian people in regime change and secular democracy. Nothing more and nothing less.
you seem like a desperate anti Iranian person
Iran's influence is becoming pervasive amongst its neighbors and that influence is being directed not by Rouhani. It's about Khamenei. As the Supreme Leader, his word is final over all national security and foreign policy matters. The President's portfolio mostly covers internal security and economic issues (neither of which the previous President Ahmadinejad was very good at). The opportunity to open up a line of dialogue with Rouhani is worthwhile, but of little value unless he exhibits the ability to beak from Khamenei without getting sent to house arrest like Khatami. This of course assumes he's even interested in that considering his 30 plus year career in the Islamist state includes stints as head of security, military policy and nuclear issues. The track record moving forward doesn't look great either considering since his election, Iran has stepped up the pace of public executions with over 10 hangings in public squares. We certainly HOPE there is a chance here, but it's always one of those things that you can't just build a foreign policy on hope, but tough negotiating and concrete results. Let's hope there is more to Rouhani than a genial smile so that issues like Syria can get resolved without all of the foreign powers actually taking up arms and making this little regional conflict spread into a global conflict.
That's not the point, US should accept Iran's influence and try to make a deal with Iran (not with Rouhani but by Iran)
Iran is run by gangsters now they elected a more "presentable" face to deal with with internal economic problems; no choice Iran remains unfortunately the most dangerous country in the world, no could imagine this. Febr. 1979 was a nightmare and a big conspiracy. All those involved in that should be put on trial for genocide.
It is debilitating if you project the trijectory of Iran
The Israelis are absolutely right "Iranian regime" the most dangerous one in todays world, the current so called 'moderate' president is a complete ghost with a made up biography by the intelligence. Follow this interview precisely and you find out nothing has changed. We are dealing here with a regime that is far more dangerous than North Korea. The free world must wake up!
