In south Asian countries like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, the gap between the "have's" and those who cook and clean for them often seems unbridgeable.

In "Close Distance," a photo essay by Bangladeshi photographer Jannatu Mawa, the distance between domestic servants and their employers is highlighted.

So much for the multicultural idea about all systems being equally valid. Wait, that only kicks in when Judeo Christian based cultures rise above others.

Popseal, Judeo-Christian cultures have been just as messed up, historically. Or don't you realize that the Arab-Israeli conflict is just a family feud thousands of years in the running: typical rich guy bonks the family maid and then claims it was all his wife's idea! Then drives the poor maid and their kid together into the desert...wonderful basis for a religion there!
