    great interviews!

this may have been covered in one of the interviews that I haven't seen, but:
I think one of the keys, for "westeners" to understanding the difficulties in Afganistan, is about the tremendous leap from relying on family-/clan structures for security (and security in a sense that is unfamiliar to most of us) to depending on a fare away located government for protection.

That is – in my view – the the leap, we are trying to make them take, and I don't think the general western public realizes how difficult that's going to be.

    hoping for the best

Canada has 2500 troops in Afghanistan.
Canada has lost 103 soldiers in Afghanistan.
I think that is a significant contribution to the war in Afghanistan.

Nice job. That's the first time I've heard succinct, coherent answers to some basic questions about Afghanistan. Please provide more substantive content like this.

How about a few tough but obvious questions?
1.) Americans pay Billions in taxes for the war on drugs yet for 8yrs we have guarded the poppy fields for a country of nothing but drug dealers?
2.)Obama said he wants to secure Afganistan, fix their economyand provide them with schools to better their education. How about the US economy, schools filled with drugs and gangs and resebling a war zone. finally the US security. 2 reality wannabees walked into the White house, supposedly the most secure place on the planet.
3.) 7 million illeagals in the US. Is there any border patrol or immagration anymore or are they all on leave? millions of Americans living on the streets no job or home but yet we have 7 million illeagals? someone seriously not doing their jobs.
4.)This country is filled with sexual preditors. many preying on our children. Why does the government keep putting them back on the streets to do it again?Americans want these people turning the preditors loose to be held accountable.

Terrorism has become a religion of some sort and i hope president
    Obama understands that!
It's not how far,but how well.
What matters most is the bottom line.
Goin' to Afghaistan should not should not end up a carboncopy of the
Iraqi inversion by Bush administeration:"voice of Jacob, hand of Esau.

I simply wanted to thank you so much once more. I am not sure the things that I would've sorted out without the type of solutions revealed by you over that situation. It truly was an absolute horrifying matter in my opinion, however , spending time with the very specialised style you resolved that made me to leap over gladness. I will be happy for this service and then pray you realize what a great job you happen to be providing teaching people today using your web site. Most likely you have never got to know any of us. https://sinequandoxepin.com/#
