'brain washing' anybody? Hamas might be doing bad stuff, but is not only one side doing bad stuff. I have no doubt Israel convince Mosab that they are victims. How can we be sure that he is not receiving tons of money from Israel to say these things. Israel doesn't want peace with the Palestinians. The more time goes by, the more settlements, the more Palestinians will leave their lands, starve, or go thirsty and leave.
I believe in the people of Israel. I don't trust the Government. They want the whole are for themselves, with no Arabs inside. That's called Ethnic Cleansing. Maybe they are not shooting them at point blank, but they are doing everything else in the book to make Arabs leave (even demolishing houses inside Jerusalem).

Just seen part 1 of the interview on tv and though I can't comment on his claims to thwart terrorist attacks and save the lives of terrorists but he is 100% correct on the root of the mafia theology and that is the god of the Koran. It's very refreshing to hear this finally on tv though I have no doubt Mosab Yousef will be ridiculed and suffer a series of ad hominem attacks.

I urge all Muslims to read the Koran as Mosab Yousef as suggested.

If you read and remember half of the Qur'an, so what? You didn't understand it either brother. Now, becoming moslem (like I do) and lively proud of it, means to be khalifah in the world, and I clearly interpreted khalifah as "Rahmatan lil 'Alamin".

People must not learn about ISLAM from all of the news that being spread by the media and this kind of things. People must learn ISLAM from the Qur'an and not from people just like you Mosab.

So lucky that I learn ISLAM from the Qur'an, or books from Islamic scholars such as Dr. Murad Wilfried Hofmann, Martin Lings or even from Goethe's dictum to be found in his Western Eastern Divan: "If Islam means submission to God's will, then in Islam we all live and die.."

I want to thank you sincerely for doing a rear good work by presenting this gem to the world. But you have exposed him too much, he should have been tutored and mind the choice of word when talking about gods of the Quran.

To be honest with you, this young man has the solution to the lasting peace in the middle east if we handle him and back him up in his mission.

Amanpour you know that now he will be put under target list by the extrem islamic world, so please see that the FBI assist him in this regard its very important and we need him in the peace process in the middle east.

I was ones a muslim now converted to christian and doing the work of missions among the poor in the slum as well as a pastor in a local church, its a wonderful experience to librated, and thats what Mosab is expressing.

He said that his problem is with Qura'an's God, or Muslim God, and he knows well that God of Qura'an is God of the Bible before distortion and also he is the God of Tawra'ah, book of Jewish before distortion.
    He is very contradictory man.

When Mosab Yousef characterizes what is happening in the Middle East by "their God" against our God and which God is the good God, he has fallen in the same trap of narrow mindedness that plagued the region with an insignificant difference of changing camps. May all human beings remember the goodness of their hearts irrespective of any God. May human beings leave God to Himself/ Herself and just focus on being humane. Peace, Love and Best Smiles.

    Dear Mrs. Amanpour,

First of all, i would like to tell you that i am a big fan of your program and i really admire your work and i appreciate the huge effort you and your staff are doing to let the people speak out loudly.

It is just what makes me feel terribly bad that some one discriminates me and my believes (Mosab Yousef) on my favorite show, and what disappoints me even more is that my favorite reporter wouldn’t let him stop from hurting 1,3 billion people’s feelings.
I understand that one can say whatever he wants as long as he is talking politics, but when it comes to religion it becomes serious and unacceptable.

Mrs. Amanpour, you owe your fans an apology.

Thank you for your valuable time.

So Proud of you Mosab! i admire your courage, your eyes are open and i can tell you that nothing will happen to you, you have come to understanding and realization of the truth, indeed so many things are wrong with the Koran and the ideology of Islam this is a common truth but people are bound to the believe of Islam by force as they say if your eyes opened and you want to get out of the religion, your family, Government, friends will disown you, that is exactly the cure problem of Islam, there is no freedom in Islam, any Muslim guy that said there is freedom in Islam is just deceiving himself, they all know the truth but they are bound to it because of FEAR!

The guy is really very confused. Regarding Islam unfortunately he seemed to have had bad teachers, or no teachers at all, or he would not listen to them properly. Islam is peace. It is the Israeli occupation which created terrorists, there were no terrorists in Palestine before the Israelis came. Allah (your god and our god) will judge.

No matter how Mr. Yousef presents it, being a spy for your enemy has always been morally questionable. Yousef should have had the moral courage to try to dissuade the people he spied on from pursuing their violent acts.

What was really objectionable in the segment, were Mr. Yousef's tirade against Islam on prime time CNN: Would Ms Amanpour have tolerated such attacks on Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism .........?

    Dear Christiane,

Evidently Mosaab was brainwashed. Had he read the Qura'an, he would have known that the God of Islam is the same God of Judism and Christianity. He is the AlMighty GOD, the creator of the universe, heaven and hell. The only difference between the three religions lies in belief of the followers of each religion in their Messenger. The Messenger of Islam believed in the two preceding Messengers of Judism and Christianity, he even said that deneying any of the preceding Messengers renders your belief incomplete and closer to being atheist. Mosaab's heroism is very doubtful; I look forward not only to your inviting officials from Hamas and Shen Bit to analize his "heroism" ; but to invite scholars of Islam (I can recommend so many) to speak about the resemblances between Islam, Christianity and Judism and that the three of them condemn any impingement on the soul or dignity of any creature (no matter what his/her belief is), being a human being, an animal, a creature or even a plant. Ask your viewers to read indepth what the real Islam is. I also advise you to do the same reading in order not to allow fanatics like Mosaab to say what they please without even discussing his contentions and libel.

No human flesh and blood can fight for the Gods we so divide. They are well able to fight their own battles. For the first time in this generation, while the whole world watch in amazement, young Mosab Yusef has shaken the heavens, putting his life on the line, trusting in a God. Shouldn't the Gods we hold so dearly, children of Abraham, prove themselves? I urge all flesh then to stand aside and watch. If you see Mosab Yusef on a Gaza Street or in Jerusalem, leave him alone, the battle is not your's. Its the battle of the Gods over Yusef.

This is so amazing to me that Muslims are so afraid or so deeply hurt when someone speaks against their religion. I guess freedom of speech for Islam stops at the Mosque. Muslims speak out frequently against Christianity and call us the great Satan and no one riots in the streets about it in the west. This is very telling about the absolute unwavering control Islam has over its adherents. And the abiding fear and insecurity about their own beliefs. Since no one can oppose it, question its validity, etc... Therefore no one can have a healthy open debate from a philosophical, metaphysical or rational point of view. So the Islamic world, and other nations like N Korea suffer greatly. In other words, there's no free will. Free will is a natural law. Not that much different from the laws of gravity, light, motion and other aspects of our world. When religion is meant to control by silencing opposition, it is holding the seeds of its own destruction within itself. If only families in the Islamic world would give there children the freedom to practice the religion of there choosing or none at all!!! If Aristotelian logic was applied to the study of most religions, they would have to conclude the contradictions are too great to support them. But since free will and a rational open discourse is not allowed in some countries, people will live in oppression and darkness. And conflict will continue....

I can gurantee that he is being paid millions of dollars by Israel ( US tax payer money) to say all this. Israel believes in ethnic cleanisng of ALL palestinians. There has been HUNDREDS of U.N.resolutions condeming Israel for viloating basic human rights of palestinians, everyone was vetoed by the U.S. How about the massacre and starvation of the citizens of Gaza? Just read the Goldstein report, written by a very well respected International judge who is Jewish. How about the seperation wall that further stole palestinian lands? The U.S media fails to show both sides of the story. This is absolutely amazing that the U.S is still standing by Israel. Or could it be all the lobbying and campaign money donated by AIPAC. There will be no peace in this world untill indviduals morals will out weigh there greed for money.

the only big fail in this conversation is, you just see it from your "right" perspective and adore him for what he did, which is ridiculous. such "right' is very subjective depending on "who" talk about "what". Mosab is the one that afraid. the big other things is US and Israeli still want become "good friends". Palestina, or even Afghan, Iraq, Iran etc. are what US and Israel wants to control. what else do you wants, hello american – obama?? oh yes you CAN do that, all what you want to do !

And that this is just about one thing : money matter, or lets say OIL matter. you just want to feed up your greedy citizen, and make sure you still have enough OIL for the next 100 years.

People who are aware of their thirst for knowledge about themselves and what life really mean come and drink from these ocean of shocking facts from this guy. Bottomline- this whole issue is actually about the question of our path to eternity. Remember if there are different paths to God then it would also mean nothing is right or wrong. But if you do think so then you are not sure either. Seek God then you will become immortal like the son of hamas. He is fearless because God is with him. That Bible U said is 'changed' why are the islamic nation so afraid of its truth, that they not only banned it, they disallowed xtians preaching and prohibit convertion which is punishable by death? Xtianity has withstood centuries of attacks both intellectually and politically, but can islam allowed that for a moment without it crumbling? You claimed you can convert thousands of xtians, I challenge the Islamic nations to open their doors to freedom of worship if millions don't turn to Christ. Truth doesn't need protection, it sustains itself, only lie must be protected by sword, anger, deceit, hatred and state laws. Come out and face reality.

After a long wait, in Mosab Yousef we have a hero! Not a martyr (they set bad example of subservience to fellow humans), not a saint (I know of no saints who were double agents, though I'm pleased to be corrected).

A hero is brave, strong, saves people, kills dragons (ideological or otherwise) etc. but what matters is that s/he is one whose deeds enable them to tell God where He gets off. Prometheus, who stole fire (back) from heaven, Odysseus, who found out everything on his way back from Troy. Einstein, who understood there was no Outside from which the universe could be viewed, Tom Paine, whose "Common Sense" told him there was no need for monarchs, Walt Whitman who dared to sing "The Song of Myself" ...

Best line in the interview "... they should understand the good that comes from within them". In this he goes further towards humanism than St Paul, who has a dim view of our capacity for natural goodness. Paul's inflation of original sin to a central truth makes it harder for those on the Christian side of the divide to stand up against theological bullying, from whichever side it comes.

With knowledge and study of both the Koran and Bible and with the history and practice of both religions it is obvious to anybody that the god (Allah) of Islam is not the same as that of the Bible.
Previously it was erroneously (and to be politically correct) said to be so. The attributes of the Living GOD are different from that espoused in the Koran. Let the Muslim world know this!
We pray for unbelievers to know GOD in a personal way, to have a relationship with JESUS who was not a messenger but the AL-MASIH of all humanity!

    Hi, Amanpour
Like to make a nut shell comment, that Islam allows to change religion, tell lie, etc if his life is in danger. Secondly we Muslim will convert, if you will proof who killed most civilians number of times. what I mean give me a count in last 60 sixty years how many Israeli civilians were liked, how many palestinian were killed, how many Palestinians soldiers were killed, how many Israeli solders were killed, lets make a list year by year. Please tell me if I am wrong, Israeli killed, and injured hundreds of thousand Palestinian civilians in last 40 years in piece time over Israeli civilian.
Now Bottom line is that we including America, Palestine, Hamas, Israel and all Muslim head of countries, must involve to bring peace because each life on both side is important. fact is that Israeli and Muslims are the off spring of Profit Ibrahim and related.
Like to help bring the most complicated resolved.

    .
I think this was quite interesting. The naïveté exhibited by Mosab Yousef, is stark. On the, one hand committing treason against the Palestinians, to save his Father and "Peace". The other hand, what society sanctions treason. We are now hearing about the capture of Adam Ghadan, who’s going to be tried for treason in our country,

Another disturbing element of Mosab's interview is his defaming of Islam. "The Koranic God, being different from the Torah or Biblical God". They are one and the same, his great pains to describe it, leads me to believe, that he is now under the influence of American Fundamentalist Messianic Christians.

Israel is a racist society; Hamas in Gaza and their ideology are also racist. Israel raised a Jewish flag and Hamas an Islamic one, what's the difference? I think Mosab is at best, delusional. He's wrong, Israel is wrong and Hamas is wrong.

I find it very strange that Amanpour has such a difficult time understanding how someone can experience a conversion from those who practice indiscriminate killings (even if they are family) to a belief that such actions are wrong, and against God. Yes, he stopped believing it was a good thing to kill civilians, even though they were his enemy, because he came to see that terrorist actions are against God.

The Hamas spokesman's statement that this is war, verifies that he believes it's okay to kill innocents. The fact that Israel has many Palestinians working for them means that the death-filled ideology of Hamas is not shared by all – and that it is thankfully repudiated by many inside Palestine who work secretly against Hamas. Amanpour's obvious pro-Palestinian bias blinds her to understanding that people can go against their own people when they see that the targeting of innocent civilians goes against God, and they have to do what they can to stop it and speak out against it. Coming from a civilized society, why is that so hard to understand, Christiane?

    Mosab,

In spite of your conversion, you still cared for the lives of your people and of others.

Every life is precious before God. This is a key indication that you indeed have the Life and the Love of God in you who gives air, rain, sunshine.... to every being with the hope that, before their last breathe on the earth, they will submit to His Love that they may have a home in heaven with Him.

Continue to Abide in His Love. We are pilgrims and strangers on this earth, we are seeking a city to come. The Llife Boat is soon coming to gather the Jewels of God Home.

    Stand Fast in Him !

Mossab's statements are provocative and daring. I fear for this guy.
Based on this blog, I most say that those individuals who condemm Mossab speak of death, judgement, and vengeful desires towards his life. No wander he rejected Islam's interpretations of God.

As a Christian, I have been exposed to many instances in which Jesus' name, character, actions, and statements are ridiculed. Living in secular societies demand a certain level of tolerance to dissent. Muslims in this blog are severely intolerant, which makes me question the root of their idelogy. Apparently, it's not transformative enough to break perpetual cycles of violance, hate, and misunderstandings.

Despite the fact that spying for Israel I would also find objectionable, Mossab's rejection of Islam is understandable based on the poor testimony bloggers who call on his judgement and death provide. If you are a good Muslim, truly be transformed by the message you say Islam preaches. Then, may be, others can belief what you claim as truth.

The entire world will appreciate your stand for the truth and your courage to expose evil.
This step had to be taken by someone brave like you sooner or later.
Islamic Jihadist started to fight against the world, and the world has no other choice but fighting back.
May God, through you, save many victims of Islam.
Thank you Mosaab – Thank you Christiane

I have watched this "Son of Hamas", so many times....the more I watch it, the more this man earns my respect, both as a human and as a true child of God.....Jesus Christ has won here above all else.

How many of us want this world to be a good place to live in?

All of us need peace and harmony surrounding us, don’t we? And why not try to achieve it.

Blaming and discrediting each other make thing worse. Why shouldn’t we help Israel and Palestine to stop fighting each other? I believe God doesn’t want his creatures/created to be killed only Satan does.

Pleases pray for the peace of the whole world. Why not follow the way of Jesus Christ. "Pray for your enemy" and "Love others as you want others to love you".
