The feedback received through emails focused on two topics, the interview with Mosab H. Yousef, the son of Hamas, and its “fascinating essence”, as viewers described it. The second discussion was the professed admiration for the documentary Scream Bloody Murder that continued to receive compliments by most. In Facebook, viewers zoomed into the relationship the film Hurt Locker had with women candidates in Iraqi elections. The social media conversation began with wishes for women around the globe for a “happy International Women’s day” which turned into support for women that took and conquered leadership roles internationally, using as an example the Hurt Locker director, Kathryn Bigelow. Many recognized the challenges for women ahead, but overall a sense of solidarity accompanied most commentary.

Christiane: If China is clearly signaling that it won't go along with the sanctions the U.S. is calling for isn't it time to seek a completely new approach to the Iran problem? Given the enormous amount of American debt China holds, don't we have essentially zero leverage to get China to see things our way? If the sanction remedy for dealing with Iran is blocked does that make war more or less likely? What can be done to avoid war? Finally, if Israel starts a war with Iran will the U.S. have to join it?

Comments about the film “The Hurt Locker” and its relation with women in the Iraqi elections
Christine Novshadayan Of course they have something in common! If you start watching the world from eyes of a woman, you will stop so many of these nonsense money driven wars. We should look at this as a change. Even for me the idea was surprising, but after a while it became very natural to tell stories from another perspective.

Congratulations on your interview with Mosab Hassan. It is only but a matter of time for all muslims to realize, the truth about Islam is to lie about every other religion. I was born a muslim in a so called conservative family in Bangladesh. I was taught the same things Hasan has touched in your interview. After 35 years of being a muslim I read Salman Rushdie's 'Satanic Verses' and finally woke up one day and challenged my thoughts and began to see the light. I converted to Christianity and found the true meaning of TRUTH. Mosab Hassan Yousef.... your name will go down in the books of history as someone with courage, intelligence and a great leader who lead his people out of the dark ages and into the real world.

INTERNECINE CONFLICT IN PLATEAU
A POWERFUL PANACEA
Please avoid simplistic labeling of the crises in plateau. The course of Justice will not be served if we adopt these lazy and untruthful labels.
ADDRESSING FIVE FALLACIES
1. If this was an indigene/settlers conflict, then the Igbos, Yorubas, Urhobos and others will have joined ranks with the Hausa community against the indigenous ethnic groups of plateau. This is clearly not the case in Plateau.
Rather, this is a case whereby one of the component communities of cosmopolitan Plateau acts as if it is above the law. It has consistently exhibited disrespect and contempt for:
a. CONSTITUTED AUTHORITY
b. The other stakeholders Plateau Project
c. The core values and culture of that miniature Nigeria – the peaceful and beautiful Plateau State.
2. This is not a case of indigenous envy. If it was so, then it ought to have been the Igbos who are clearly the most prosperous community in Plateau that will have been the target of indigenous envy. In all the panel of inquiry on the Jos crisis, they have never the indigenous people of envy. Rather, it is the so called “prosperous” Hausa community which has targeted and looted their property.
3. This is not a case of Genocide. Why should the one who initiated the violence be allowed to slander his victims? The true victims of these crises have suffered a double tragedy. They have been robbed of their lives/property; they are wrongly accused by the Hausa community –who murdered them – of genocide. The very foundations of Heaven are shaking at this very moment because of this gigantic miscarriage of justice.
4. Was the crisis of November 2008 truly a case of Local Government elections? Do churches conduct elections? In all the Local Government elections conducted by State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC) across the length and breadth of Nigeria, in which one has the ruling party in that particular State not swept the polls? In the case Plateau, the people who chose the civilized course of action by seeking redress through the courts of law have not been disappointed. Ask AC in the Bokkos LGA and DPP in Langtang North and Langtang South. The ANPP/Hausa community of Jos North, with tacit approval of people in high places, decided to follow a crude, wicked and disrespectful course of action. They desecrated the core values of the land.
5. Let us assume that in the most recent crisis that it was indigenous people that stopped a Hausa man from reconstructing his house. Is the response in which worshippers were attacked in the churches the right course of action? Nobody desecrates human life on such a scale and get away with it. If earthly laws don’t catch up with the culprits, divine judgment shall visit them severely.
THE PANACEA FOR INTERNECINE CONFLICT IN PLATEAU
These crises can end immediately and forever if the Emirs and Governors in the North reprimand and discipline the wayward Hausa community of Jos. Let the remember this Hausa saying:
“Who refuses to allow his child to cry (on account of discipline), one day he will be the one crying”

First we must stop Israelies killing, injuring, taking Muslims property, taking Muslims land and then we will worry about moving all Jews safely on safety on New York Island. Then conversion or expansion of Islam will be the communication topic

As much as Islam does not encourage arguing nd judging oneselves about which religion is supreme, for Allah alone knows who worships him. I would advice B. Smith to go seek for knowledge nd get educated about Islam before making any comments about it, ALLAH is an arabic name for God nd not what my friend B. Smith thinks.

sura 4:84 in the Koran Mohammed quoting Allah,said,people of the book (with Jews and christians )should be killed by his disciples for the are the enemies of Allah and that all those who kill them are helping Allah,and therefore, shall be rewarded in Aljanna(muslim Heaven)therefore, fight for the religion of Allah. SAUDI ARABIA head of state wake up, you hold MECCA, it is responsibility from ALLAH for you to help, unite all MUSLIMS.
