Israel must be wiped off the map?
Israeli Minister of Intelligence and Atomic Energy, Dan Meridor, says Ahmadinejad never actually used those words: [via YNet].  A top Iranian adviser said the same to me in an interview last month:

    As a matter of fact Ahmadinejad never actually said that Israel must be wiped off the map. He said that "the regime in Jerusalem will vanish from the page of time". Unfortunately, NO ONE was able to explain what he MEANT...
