CNN presents 'In the Footsteps of Bin Laden,' a documentary on the life and mission of Osama bin Laden. Using firsthand accounts of the people who knew him best throughout his life, 'In the Footsteps of Bin Laden' details bin Laden's transformation from a quiet, well-bred boy to the Western world's most wanted terrorist. The two-hour investigation is reported by CNN's Christiane Amanpour and is based on the book 'The Osama bin Laden I Know' by CNN terrorism analyst Peter Bergen.

Thats because this is nothing but a script. Mossad knocked down the towers. Al Qaeda does not exist. Mickey Mouse is more real that Osama ever was.

FMS, it's like you are not living in this world, who doesn't know osama, unless you are a living dead..... or haven't you been born by sept. 11, 2012/////

Oh please. Osama Bin Laden been dead since 2002. This whole production is nothing more than just that... a production. I suppose that why the White House won't release official photos and also why his body was conveniently disposed of in a way that removed any aspirations of transparency.

We be better served if the press would just ignore this dead terrorist rather than glorify him with stories like this.

The way gun-weilding militants are being pampared with oversea trainings and jobs In Nigeria, we may still see more well-bred children of the clergy and royalty turn 'Osamas'.

There are many ways to satisfy one's ego. It may be money, it may be power, it may be control.... And in general teh yardstick for measuring one's approach, whether it is evil or not, is judged by the impact of the actions done by the person trying to satisfy thier ego.

It is certain that Amanpour's efforts will bring her money, power and control...and satisfy her ego. And as certain as that, it will breed evil in the form of many more terrorists seeking glory.

Evil breeds evil and so it is fair to say that Amanpour is thus evil. The devilish quest for glory and power is so evident in her 🙁

I don't even channel flip past CNN.If you want a program alert for something I know is worth watching, the National Geographic Channel is doing an update to their most excellent special: Inside 9/11. It airs Sunday.

Bin Laden was a greater man than either Bush or Obama. More people followed him willingly to death than did either of these presidents.

Anticlimactic, so far, as we have known the info shown here for years now. Is this all that the great Amanpour has to say? On CNN, at that? No wonder...

Are you kidding? Why do you think she publishes these videos. She's and anti-Semite and is on TV every day pushing her agenda. I watch occasionally for laughs. CNN must have it's head up it's A- S- S-, hitching it's star to this PBS reject..

Many aspects of the story are still hidden and not fully explained. Who, for instance was Abdullah Azamm and how he was contacted and by whom? how he came to Pakistan and who supported him in this most expensive pursuit? From where Osama was getting money all these years and why the inflow was not stopped. And there are many bother questions.

The dokumentation shows Bin Laden as a religios moslem and say that he loves for Allah and wanted to fight for this way. There is many thinks that has particularly annoyed me, It was a men in the video who tells about: "Jihad". He said that Islam is forbidden to kill peaple. Yes, thats right but there is another problem in the next sentence. He said : if they kill out children and women, we can kill theire women and children too! This is not right! The prophet Muhammed (peace be upan him) speak to his soldiers before going to war against Meccas was to: – NOT kill innocent peaple!
-NOT to kill childre! -Not to kill women! -NOT to kill without weapen
There is nothing in the quran whitch allows us to kill innocent peaple. If I see such videos which shows Bin Laden like a good moslem I become furious. He deals nothing with Islam!

Mrs. Amanpour is there any strong proof against Bin Laden about 9/11 ???

    August 3, 2012 at 7:03 am | Reply
    • No evidence what so ever

Their is ZERO evidence that Osama Bin Laden had anything to do with 9/11. The FBI never charged him with the crimes of 9/11 because he had nothing to do with the false flag.

Jesus and Muhammad are losing in the battle for the spiritual mind, a better prophet has arisen. Devil worshipping has gained in popularity, its message is clear. “The house of Satan offers more than the Mosque, Church, or Synagogue”. Chills and thrills are needed before prayers and hope.

I do enjoy the way you have presented this issue and it really does present us a lot of fodder for consideration. Nonetheless, coming from what precisely I have seen, I really hope as the actual feed-back pack on that men and women continue to be on issue and in no way get started upon a soap box of the news of the day. Still, thank you for this superb point and whilst I do not necessarily go along with this in totality, I respect your viewpoint.
