This Simon character is an intellectual snob. His critical remarks are those given by the most out of touch college professors I have experienced. Give me a break! Obama's communication skills are hampered by the stupidity of the the right. He is talking to me, the poor, and those who need government to survive the Bush incredible attack on the world.

Ambiga's stand should be lauded. She is an educated and brave lady who has earned respect from all races in Malaysia. Malaysia needs electoral reforms. There must be free and fair elections. The two-party system in the country has now given the people a choice to choose the better of the two to govern the country. Monopoly of power by manipulating the electoral processes has incurred the wrath of the people.

Great to have had the exposure.
Shame Amanpour misses the distinction between Bersih as (political opposition) "coalition", and Bersih as people's movement for reform of process.
And so perpetuating a misrepresentation, unwittingly continuing to set Bersih up for mischief-making.
