I have a feeling that the IRS scandal was a set up by some of the Republicans themselves to make the president look bad...It is a possibility...

NOT ONLY to make Obama look bad...the Republicans have been "after" the IRS FOR YEARS! They INTENTIONALLY UNDERFUNDED the agency to INSURE it could NOT follow up on tax evasion of the Rich elite. And, NOW, they've intentionally created these tax "dodges" called 501(3)(c) and 501(4)(c) scams to allow their top 1% to 1) AVOID TAXES ON CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS, 2) REMAIN ANONYMOUS and 3) SWAY THE NATION'S ELECTIONS......ALL at one stroke! The underfunded IRS was just doing its job by selecting PROBABLE TAX EVADERS as the focus of their attention. HOW, pray tell, does ANY justify NOT going after organizations who sole purpose is to reduce and even ELIMINATE taxes on the top 1%......FIRST? Another SCAM by the "Party of SCAMS"...the infamous Republican Party!

Wouldn't suprise me, Rebublicans are like wild animals frothing at the mouths, desperate for a scandal that will damage the president – ANYTHING! They have shown themselves to care about NOTHING but their own political wins. Pathetic.

Your dear leader Obama could commit a felony on tape and you'd think it was someone else's fault. I'm sure if it was under Bush and the target was liberal groups you would use the same logic?

There is a valid point there,in that you get the impression the Reps may stymie Bills just to rub his face in it.

Sour grapes,if you like–and that is NOT serving America which ultimately it's about, but the grab for power is all-consuming.

People who want to see the USA government dysfunctional must be salivating. We outsiders who used to respect the USA congress, wonder what is happening. Obama comes across as someone who has done very well in terms avoiding 'skeletons in the cupboard', personal office scandals and other official embarassments, but he appears persecuted with a passion by those who want to nullify his agenda. Compare his work ethic, energy levels, relative truthfulness, and scandal prone-ness with other US Presidents of the last 100 years, and he comes out very ok. Republicans should change strategy and become more gentle and put forth ideas that will increase their chances of winning the next elections. It seems, they think, by suffocating the government thats the strategic way to go and young voters don't realise it.
