Face to face with Syria's snipers

June 6th, 2013
06:36 PM ET

Photojournalist Robert King has been covering the Syrian war and has even spent time in the flash-point city of Qusayr over the past year.

Most recently he's been in Aleppo, where he met with opposition snipers who've made it their job to try to pick off and kill Assad's forces.

"Residents of Aleppo [are] still cautiously carrying on their day-to-day lives the best they can in the midst of a war zone," King says. "But now that the battle has largely transformed into one fought by the snipers, the simple act of crossing the road can be deadly."

In the video above you can watch Amanpour's full interview with this photojournalist and see the footage he captured of  snipers showing him how they carry out their assaults.

The real breakthrough throughout the Middle East would be some sort of Peace Accord between Iran and Israel. The world's wealthiest and most powerful see and know this and are doing their damnest to not allow such an event to occur.

This will not happen. Because the USA and Israel are the reason why this even happens. Ill tell you what's next. Austria will return their soldiers from the golan height, so will do others. Rebels aka terrorists will then strike there and do Israel the favor. Israel will then put assad from his throne to get the banks and the money. end of story.
