Amanpour/CNN/Whoever is responsible for posting videos: There is a huge bias here that is evident in support of Morsi!!!

    1. Why did you not interview any of the opposition?
    2. You are incorrect in saying that there are huge demonstrations of both pro- and anti-Morsi demonstrators!!! In fact the video footage is biased on SO many levels!!! For your information (and I am sure you all know this you just choose not to air it): There are a few hundren thousand anti-Morsi protestors and approximately 17 million anti-Morsi protestors!!! The reason everything is relatively peaceful is because that by far the majority are the anti-Morsi protestors!!! Anti-Morsi, Morsi, and the Muslim brotherhood are Muslim extremists, and they are a mafia out to destroy Egypt!! STOP your bias!!!

1-You cannot count 17 million of anti morsi. During our 1st election nobody was thinking that Morsi and shafeek will be the winners
2-the numbers being said about protesters is too much than reality Tahrir squar with its sides cannot be more than 400 thousands which is huge but not what we here in the media
3-The way the coup was done is not giving any hope about the future police and army will return us to Mubarak state
4-Stopping Dostour is not the right of anybody after its being approved by majority
5-I want people's opinion to be respected what happened in my opinion (very huge marketing campaign with a military support and some gulf countries funding

MORSI WENT ON A NATIONAL EGYPTIAN TELEVISION TELLING THE EGYPTIANS THAT EITHER HE STAYS OR HE AND HIS "PRO-MORSI" PROTESTORS WILL GO OUT AND KILL ALL THE ANTI-MORSI PROTESTORS!!!!!

MORSI AND THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD ARE TERRORISTS THAT MUST NOT BE IN A GOVERNMENT THEY ONLY DESERVE TO BE IN JAIL!!!!!!!

AMANPOUR SHOULD BE UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR HER REASONS IN BEING SO BIASED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sarah, maybe you should have watched the complete interview on CNN live, because she interviewed not only the spokesperson, but also opposition and another expert from London!
The interviews are great and she is one of the best interviewers, cause she brings it to the point!
Before you write in such an aggressive way, you should inform yourself better, it would be a much more professional way!

It's good to know Anony that there was better coverage in the complete interview but why is this not available online? Why does she or the editors choose only to air certain parts and not others in this shortened version?!! I am sorry but my opinion stands that CNN is extremely biased!! I am extremely frustrated with CNN coverage – it is supposed to be the voice of America to the world and I think they are doing a horrible job. I guess we can agree to disagree but my way was not unprofessional and it was aggressive because I am disturbed by this! It is not proper coverage!

I have also watched a lot of Amanpour's coverage of Egypt and they are all equally biased and terrible at including the other side!! So I am fed up with it. CNN needs to wake up and realize that there are some people that would prefer a fair coverage. Sorry for upsetting you with my comment – but please be very cautious when you listen to CNN and do your own research before taking everything they say for granted! Thanks and good luck to you.

CNN’s bias towards the Muslim Brotherhood is astonishing, and Christiane Amanpour seems to follow the same lines. I’ve watched many of her interviews on the topic, the headlines are prejudicial and so is the insistence to use the word coup when the American administration itself has avoided the term. I’m not going to go on explaining because I know this bias is fuelled by hard-core sympathisers within CNN, my advice to all is to watch BBC instead, CNN is simply not credible.

The people of Egypt have spoken loud and clear. Stop backing up a terrorist regime. Be fair in your coverage Amanapour. You know quite well Egypt hasn't been the same since the Muslims stole the revolution.
You should honor the people who seek better honorable living. Not oppression.

This is Egypt back to January 25,2011 seeking freedom and equality before the Muslims extremist stole the revolution. In which nation in the world does an ex convict rise to a president? Did you ask yourself where did the billions of dollars given by the Obama administration since January 2011??

The Muslim brotherhood wants the world to believe its a military coup but if you just look at the numbers and check the history of this group n this president you will realize its not.
Its a true revolution of Egyptians seeking freedom and taking back their country from the hands of dictators.

I appreciate all the comments on your coverage for the Egyptian revolution.
The coverage, not only your part, but the whole CNN coverage was :
Late, Poor, Unfair, guiding the audience to one idea that it is a coup by the military, trying to dig for blood, showing footage from the archives that has nothing to do with the current demonstrations, ignoring covering the other squares all over Egypt, focusing mainly on Rabaa square where the brotherhood supporters are gathering.
I am not going to tell you how to find the real informations, you know better than any one else how.
The question is would you choose to seek reality? Only time will tell

It is a military coup, we have to call things there name, I think that revolutionist who stand against SCAF few months ago will be back to streets against this military coup shortly after they realize that coup will take back all what they gain on25th January , it started by shutting down all Islamic TV channels, stop freedom and justice journal and arresting many of Islamic political activists. We do not accept what Morsi did during the past year but also it is not the right way to remove him from power by calling military to intervene , we have to learn from what happened in turky , in which military intervention held it back for many years.

I disagree, a military coup would involve seizure of power by force. In this instance the military did not use force and certainly did not seize power. They simply sided with the people and, knowing the Muslim Brotherhood dark history with violence, the military knew that this would be the best move to move the country forward.

The only reason a violent group like the Muslim Brotherhood got anywhere near ruling Egypt was the chaos after Mubarak and the badly organised opposition. Let’s not forget the bloody history of the Muslim Brotherhood starting with assassinations to splinters like jihadists and Hamas all the way to Al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood has a chance to show they have changed, instead, they’ve proven the exact opposite.

    Dear Amanpour
    http://www.amanpour.com

Something is bad in your report.
It seems that CNN ignores the true feeling and facts about the Egyptian people. It seems that CNN is defending one side of democracy. When Nixon was involved in Watergate, the entire American nation forced him out of the presidency. Was that an ugly or bright side of democracy?
When the Egyptian protest against bunch of criminals, CNN listen to the wrong side.
I advise you to see the other side of the coin.
Muslims Brothers had no programs, no policy, no national interest or experience. Out of no where they suddenly emerged and out of no time they vanished.
If you as American attempt to analyze what was wrong, then understand how Mursi did insult and betrayed all Egyptians and destroy the nation’s credibility and reserves. Mursi seeks aids instead of increase the confidence to invest.
The Man that was supported by the American Administration had no loyalty and charisma to deal with people and problems.
Muslims Brothers headed by Mursi stolen the revolution from the young and put them aside in favor of their unqualified members.
Muslims Brothers had stolen hope from every Egyptian. They abuse religion and manipulate the poor.
Egyptian lost their smiles during Mursi's one long year.
It was the Muslims Brothers that introduce hate against every one, Muslims against Muslims and Muslims against Christians.
The list is long and I doubt if you really understand the Egyptian mentality.
    To brief you,
The smile is back and Egypt is back and if any one should be happy of that then it must be the American people simply because Mursi is just a facade of terrorists that have a dream to rule the World. These people grow up in closed circle claiming they are the best!
In order to be accepted, Muslims Brothers must be treated and healed.
Muslims Brothers obeys their Leader and have no respect for their own Country. They are prisoner of a virtual dream of ruling the World.
Please analyze the problem in depth and do not harm your image because the Egyptian is only restoring their stolen revolution from bunch of sick minded people.

Egypt is a promising market as it needs lot to lift its standard.

The Entire World may share the Egyptian dreams and get a high return on investment.
Visibility and transparency is the key.

    Dear Ms Amanpour,
Watching CNN and reading the above comments, we believe that CNN should really re-read the scenes with a wider perspective and not dictate its own vision. The Egyptian people are waiting to see the US Administration admitting their mistake, stop calling the Egyptians violent and stop supporting terrorism.
The Egyptian people respect those who respect the people. We still value the work of Ms Amanpour and CNN and waiting to see the change that would make us re-evaluate your esteemed corporation.
    Dear Mr Amr,
Your above comment shows that you are only repeating what MB are saying. For your kind information military coup (d'etat) is an organized action by the armed forces of a country meant to overthrow and replace its government by the force of guns. BUT what happened in Egypt is TOTALLY different. More that 30 million citizens went to the streets on 30 June rebelling the dictatorship of the regime. The Egyptians made their second revolution. The decent Egyptian Armed Forces had to support this, the decent Egyptian Armed Forces were forced BY THE EGYPTIAN DEMONSTRATORS to overthrow the failures of ousted regime.
When the ousted president took power in June 2012 we never heard a gunshot and Egypt did not have any casualties although approx 49% of the population opposed his election. But today we are counting the dead. This criminal regime is killing the youth of Egypt.

Anti Morsi protestors will cease if outsiders stop pumping money. Even now they are showing only close-up shots of anti-morsi protestors in order that the croud will appear larger. There are no long shots!.... With the media help, this is how they toppled a democratically elected government. They are not even confident too. If they were confident that they have huge popular support, they might have waited until the next election to topple Morsi or atleast asked for a referendum. This is merely gulf money/corporate funded media propogated game! Poort Egyptians you don't deserve democracy...!

May God help you people. Don't expect unbiased reporting from coporate media. Unfortunately they work on agenda. If a incident fit into their agenda, they will highlight it (like the democracy struggle in Iran), otherwise they know how to box it. They know when to discuss whether a coup is a coup..!. If Islam's peaceful religious conservetism is suppressed this way, what I am worried is remaining OPTIONS..! I A small advise: Carry big photos of Morsi in your mass rallies, otherwise international and local media may show it as an anti morsy rally!

    Ms. Amanpour,

You are a famous woman, and therefore in Wikipedia. According to Wikipedia you are married to a former Assistant Secretary of State and spokesman for the State Department during the Clinton administration and CURRENTLY an informal adviser to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and President Barack Obama. You were understood to be Pro-Moslem in the Bosnia war and have been biased 'at times'. Between these two pieces of information, I find myself wondering if you are the best figure to be involved in a program that discusses Egypt from near or from far. If you have any biases related to your Irani origin, your work experience, or relationship with the Obama administration (under critique), you should not be airing anything about Egypt because you only add to the fire. Thank you.
