CNN’s bias towards the Muslim Brotherhood is astonishing, and Christiane Amanpour seems to follow the same lines. I’ve watched many of her interviews on the topic, the headlines are prejudicial and so is the insistence to use the word coup when the American administration itself has avoided the term. I’m not going to go on explaining because I know this bias is fuelled by hard-core sympathisers within CNN, my advice to all is to watch BBC instead, CNN is simply not credible.

if it sounds like a coup, walks like a coup, removes an elected president by force of an army like a coup, put the present under arrest like a coup, massive wave of arrests like a coup, ITS A COUP! Nevermind the propaganda movie directed by the army.
The people of Egypt have spoken loud and clear. Stop backing up a terrorist regime. Be fair in your coverage Amanapour. You know quite well Egypt hasn't been the same since the Muslims stole the revolution.
You should honor the people who seek better honorable living. Not oppression.
Your administration is so biased. You should be fair
Can't you see the smile of relief on millions who protested so peacefully.
This is Egypt back to January 25,2011 seeking freedom and equality before the Muslims extremist stole the revolution. In which nation in the world does an ex convict rise to a president? Did you ask yourself where did the billions of dollars given by the Obama administration since January 2011??

The Muslim brotherhood wants the world to believe its a military coup but if you just look at the numbers and check the history of this group n this president you will realize its not.

Late, Poor, Unfair, guiding the audience to one idea that it is a coup by the military, trying to dig for blood, showing footage from the archives that has nothing to do with the current demonstrations, ignoring covering the other squares all over Egypt, focusing mainly on Rabaa square where the brotherhood supporters are gathering.

It is a military coup, we have to call things there name, I think that revolutionist who stand against SCAF few months ago will be back to streets against this military coup shortly after they realize that coup will take back all what they gain on25th January , it started by shutting down all Islamic TV channels, stop freedom and justice journal and arresting many of Islamic political activists. We do not accept what Morsi did during the past year but also it is not the right way to remove him from power by calling military to intervene , we have to learn from what happened in turky , in which military intervention held it back for many years.
I disagree, a military coup would involve seizure of power by force. In this instance the military did not use force and certainly did not seize power. They simply sided with the people and, knowing the Muslim Brotherhood dark history with violence, the military knew that this would be the best move to move the country forward.
The only reason a violent group like the Muslim Brotherhood got anywhere near ruling Egypt was the chaos after Mubarak and the badly organised opposition. Let’s not forget the bloody history of the Muslim Brotherhood starting with assassinations to splinters like jihadists and Hamas all the way to Al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood has a chance to show they have changed, instead, they’ve proven the exact opposite.

It seems that CNN ignores the true feeling and facts about the Egyptian people. It seems that CNN is defending one side of democracy. When Nixon was involved in Watergate, the entire American nation forced him out of the presidency. Was that an ugly or bright side of democracy?
When the Egyptian protest against bunch of criminals, CNN listen to the wrong side.
I advise you to see the other side of the coin.
Muslims Brothers had no programs, no policy, no national interest or experience. Out of no where they suddenly emerged and out of no time they vanished.
If you as American attempt to analyze what was wrong, then understand how Mursi did insult and betrayed all Egyptians and destroy the nation’s credibility and reserves. Mursi seeks aids instead of increase the confidence to invest.
The Man that was supported by the American Administration had no loyalty and charisma to deal with people and problems.
Muslims Brothers headed by Mursi stolen the revolution from the young and put them aside in favor of their unqualified members.
Muslims Brothers had stolen hope from every Egyptian. They abuse religion and manipulate the poor.
Egyptian lost their smiles during Mursi's one long year.
It was the Muslims Brothers that introduce hate against every one, Muslims against Muslims and Muslims against Christians.

Dear Ms Amanpour,

The Egyptian people are waiting to see the US Administration admitting their mistake, stop calling the Egyptians violent and stop supporting terrorism.
The Egyptian people respect those who respect the people. We still value the work of Ms Amanpour and CNN and waiting to see the change that would make us re-evaluate your esteemed corporation.
Dear Mr Amr,
Your above comment shows that you are only repeating what MB are saying. For your kind information military coup (d'etat) is an organized action by the armed forces of a country meant to overthrow and replace its government by the force of guns. BUT what happened in Egypt is TOTALLY different. More that 30 million citizens went to the streets on 30 June rebelling the dictatorship of the regime. The Egyptians made their second revolution. The decent Egyptian Armed Forces had to support this, the decent Egyptian Armed Forces were forced BY THE EGYPTIAN DEMONSTRATORS to overthrow the failures of ousted regime.
When the ousted president took power in June 2012 we never heard a gunshot and Egypt did not have any casualties although approx 49% of the population opposed his election. But today we are counting the dead. This criminal regime is killing the youth of Egypt.
Great comment. We ought to keep pumping the American media with facts until they understand that they supported criminals for a hidden or ignorant reasons. In both cases, Egypt is back and learned a hard lesson.
Do try to understand the Egyptian and see how the American Administration were supporting the wrong side.

More violence means less sympathy from the people.
The people kept urging the people Armed Forces to save them.
If the American is supporting those Muslims Brothers for hidden agenda then it is there own choice. The US mighty power need to listen and read the people lips and willingness.
Egypt is not another Syria and will not be.
For first time in the long Egyptian History, every one lost the smile, felt sad and lost hope.

while we were demonstrating on Wednesday peacefully to support the legal president against this illegal coup, Thugs throw us with stones in cooperation with the police and the army and tear gas thrown by the police towards us. we ran a wayseeking any one to rescue us from this planned massacre but in vain. some of us entered a mosque because it's a sacred place that no one will kill us in such a place but thugs burn the windows and attacked us while we were praying. they were carrying swords, knives, woods and pistols. they did not allow for taking photos and whom they doing so were hit to death . there was a man next to me suffering from a bullet in his belly and was about to die without any help.
they kill us in front of police and army.

May God help you people. Don't expect unbiased reporting from coporate media. Unfortunately they work on agenda. If a incident fit into their agenda, they will highlight it (like the democracy struggle in Iran), otherwise they know how to box it. They know when to discuss whether a coup is a coup..!. If Islam's peaceful religious conservetism is suppressed this way, what I am worried is remaining OPTIONS..! I A small advise: Carry big photos of Morsi in your mass rallies, otherwise international and local media may show it as an anti morsy rally!

You are a famous woman, and therefore in Wikipedia. According to Wikipedia you are married to a former Assistant Secretary of State and spokesman for the State Department during the Clinton administration and CURRENTLY an informal adviser to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and President Barack Obama. You were understood to be Pro-Moslem in the Bosnia war and have been biased 'at times'. Between these two pieces of information, I find myself wondering if you are the best figure to be involved in a program that discusses Egypt from near or from far. If you have any biases related to your Irani origin, your work experience, or relationship with the Obama administration (under critique), you should not be airing anything about Egypt because you only add to the fire. Thank you.

while we were demonstrating on Wednesday peacefully to support the legal president against this illegal coup, Thugs throw us with stones in cooperation with the police and the army and tear gas thrown by the police towards us. we ran a wayseeking any one to rescue us from this planned massacre but in vain. some of us entered a mosque because it's a sacred place that no one will kill us in such a place but thugs burn the windows and attacked us while we were praying. they were carrying swords, knives, woods and pistols. they did not allow for taking photos and whom they doing so were hit to death . there was a man next to me suffering from a bullet in his belly and was about to die without any help.
they kill us in front of police and army.
i pretended to be a criminal to get out.
i could not believe that i am still a live!
long live Morsi! long live Egypt!
deliver my message to the world!
we need your help among the media blackout.
No one cares...you got any oil? Got anything of worth? If not, go back to herding sheep & praying all day.
Eygpt, land of nothing.
IT"S NOT A COUP ..... A REVOLUTION AGAINST DICTATORIAL RULE AND THE EXCLUSION OF THE EGYPTIAN PEOPLE.
If it sounds like a coup, walks like a coup, removes an elected president by force of an army like a coup, put the present under arrest like a coup, massive wave of arrests like a coup, ITS A COUP! Nevermind the propaganda movie directed by the army.
36 people slaughtered today while praying in peaceful demonstrations.
Egypt is inhabitted by donkeys.
Ms. Amanpour,
You are a famous woman, and therefore in Wikipedia. Thank you.
