Egypt dangerously divided

CNN's Christiane Amanpour speaks with a senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood's political arm in Egypt, Amr Darrag.

Let me point out to Ms Amanpour that, Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy assumed office with a pledge to press the United States for Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman’s release. And that Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman orchestrated the first bombing of the World Trade Center, in 1993 and who is now imprisonment in high-security detention centers in the United States. Also I wish to open the eyes of Ms Amanpour that last October, al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri released a video in which he called on Egyptians to kidnap Americans to exchange for the blind sheik, furthermore, Mokhtar Belmokhtar, as Mr Morsy, the leader of a jihadist brigade that attacked American and European oil workers last January at a natural gas facility in Algeria, placed Abdel Rahman’s liberty on his list of political!!!!! You may also see a huge images of Abdel Rahman among the Egyptian supporters of Mr Morsy’s return, now in Cairo.
In fact, Egypt and Egyptians are in undeclared war with International Terrorism, since Morsy came to power last year, Egyptian military and security personnel are systematically attacked and killed in Sinai by terrorist groups that are linked and backed by the Muslim brotherhood and other terrorist groups.

Sheikh Rahman did not 'orchestrate' the first bombing of WTC in 1993, Ramzi Yousef (pakistani) did. Sheikh Rahman did not orchestrate 911, Khalid Sheikh Mohamed (pakistani) did. I was in jail with Sheikh Rahman in your so called 'high security' detention centers. You are a fool Mahmoud. The reality is real simple. The reason Morsi was asking for return of Sheikh Rahman from America to Egypt, was because American officials were beating Sheikh Rahman in the jail and causing Sheikh Rahman to rescind his ceasefire desires. When Morsi was asking Obama to do him a favor and return Sheikh to Egypt, it was not for Shiekh to be released from prison but rather to finish his sentence in an Egyptian jail where the guards will not terrorize and beat him (which is illegal even in America fool). Additionally, because Pakistani ISI work closely with American CIA, Pakistani ISI are clearly aware that Sheikh Rahman was lured to US specifically for purposes of being subjected to terrorism sting and thrown in jail, and specifically as a personal favor to Hosni Mubarak. So the Intelligence agencies of the entire Middle East understand that if we are to control our own militants, it starts by pursuading them that there is no conspiracy to destroy Islam and imprison religious leaders in contravention of freedom of speech. In america it is actually legal to preach violence as long as you dont yell bomb in a crowded theater. So Muslims cannot understand exactly why Sheikh Rahman was put in jail based solely on the word of a government informant that was paid over a million dollars to put him there (i know people that will kill you for $2000, so for a million dollars, they will lie and put you in jail for 100 life sentences without batting an eye about it). Morsi was actually very smart in asking for return of Sheikh, because if he knew he could accomplish this it would increase his credibility in the Middle East, and this would have also given him the ability to improve the situation in Egypt because by consensus, everyone (including the militants who have a right to believe in their religion and to try to apply it in a democtratic system, just like anyone else), would automatically agree that Morsi is someone who 'gets it done.' So what America did to Morsi, was like a very advanced type of terrorist attack in that the second he requested return of Shiekh, America already made the decision that he must go and then spent months on the Egyptian streets trying to whip up another revolution to take him out. So Pakistani ISI is monitoring the situation and cannot come to any other conclusion other than the US is plotting against Islam, because why would the US not return Sheikh into Islamic custody (he is a muslim after all) as a favor to the muslims to reduce potential for terrorism. US does not want to reduce potential for terrorism, because all US actions seem designed to actually increase potential for terrorism and Pakistani ISI knows this. When Pakistani ISI attacked America on 911, it was because (it claims) it has verified proof that US is plotting to harm all muslims around the world. Pakistani ISI (after seeing that 911 did not force US to force Israel to leave West Bank/Gaza), they know that there is no need to attack America again because the only way to end the problem, is to eliminate Israel. The problem with this is that even though Pakistan has the technology to eliminate Israel instantaneously, once that happens, the 'remenants' of Israel could possibly attempt to either attack America and destroy America (out of revenge for being 'betrayed' by America), or they will simply just destroy the entire planet using same technology Pakistan uses to destroy Israel. Pakistan has no qualms about taking out the entire Israel and framing Iran for it (Jerusalem included), because Pakistan feels that the Israeli toppling of the Minaret of Jesus, Ummayad Mosque Syria, thereby gives Islamic authorization for the destruction of the entire Israel, including Jerusalem. So get ready for the ride of your lives planet earth. If you ever really wanted to know if g-d exists, we are sure to find out shortly.

As one of the world's most trusted and recognized reporters I was expecting a more balanced and unbiased coverage from you and the CNN team of the events currently happening in Egypt.
It was very shameful to follow your report last night and the interview with the MB leadership.
You have demonstrated a level of un-professionalism and bias that is beneath you... Many Egyptians who have marched in protest against the ousted president Mohamed Morsi, who Egyptians en-mass have decided to move against, and who are at risk of violent retaliation for voicing their protest to a group of terrorists who use religion as a shield and front against their opposition and extreme prejudice and violence to silence said opposition. This vast majority of Egyptian people deserve better consideration and a more objective view by yourself and the CNN team.
Finally, Though I know that in some cases pressures can cause people to do things against their beliefs... I do not think a person of your stature should allow such pressures to dictate your actions and ruin a credibility such as yours.

I guess your comments indeed are for encouraging Mrs. Amanpour to be more Amanpour, by means of a contrary comment. It must be a new cunning tactic to ask for more support for her to come closer to your side. She said Morsi made mistakes, she said he only catered for islamists etc. She justified the coup as much as she could. You admit that she behaved against her beliefs so obviously you know who she is. so the 'violent retaliation' you speak of is retaliation for military coup??? When they were treated like this for 30 years by mubarak, it was ok, and when they behave in similar, but not nearly as criminal as mubarak, for just one year, kill them all??? Egypt can never have a democracy without this matter of when the people can be whipped up by the CIA, US can always remove any Egyptian leader on the spot. So the reality is that for the first and last time, there was a free election in Egypt.
