(CNN) - In an exclusive interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour, Secretary of State John Kerry echoed President Barack Obama, saying it will take time for airstrikes to degrade ISIS.

"There's a definitely a second day and there will be a third and more. This is going to go on," Kerry said Wednesday.

The United States conducted a second day of airstrikes in Syria and Iraq since the expanded military campaign against ISIS.

I sincerely hope all the training and weapons that the America give to defeat isis doesn't end up again with isis in 6months time for them to use again to fight. cos since they are aware of the bombing going to take place, isis most likely will go underground for some time, only to surface when America has been blamed for bombing and 'killing civilians'

Majority of Iraqi parliament members are Shia, because most of majority of Sunni people did not vote.
So the new Shia prime minister can not assign the defense minister from the Sunni or independent people!
The best approach is to cancel the parliament and do a real election.
Without cooperation of Sunni, it will not be any hope for the Iraq in the future.
All the foreign military groups like Shia Badr or Sepah Ghods of Iran regime and Hezbollah and also ISIS must leave the Iraq to the Iraqi people (sunni + Shia).

Alebadi prime minister of Iraq told in an interview with New york Times:
John Kerry promised me that there would not be any threat for Al Assad (and his supporters like Shia terrorist groups of Hezbollah) while attacking ISIS in the Syria!!?
The main reason of all those issues in the MEis dictator Al Assad president!? of Syria that made a civil war and big mess around!
The long term solution is kick him out of power.
